I have a 2004 SN Limited Edition. Purchased a Carver cover through Overtons for about $500. It's Sunbrella so it has great breath ability and is holding up well after 7 years. My boat is under a covered dock and I can't tell any wear pattern so far. Highly recommended as I previously owned several cheaper covers that always caused mildew.

Like dvsskier I too went with a carver sunbrella for my 2000 SN it fits totaly perfect but because I live in Canada I ordered direct and when I did at the end of the phone conversation I asked for rope ratchet and hook set up and they gave it to me for free. So if you go carver its worth a try about $25 buck chuck in.

@Wish I have a couple of older ones I can sell. One is the original one (canvas) the other is from Ski Boat Covers.com and it is Sunbrella (Marine Blue). I have a 09 196, so its the same boat. Both are in good shape the Sunbrella one is in very good shape. I just got a new one last year that covers everything due to the sun doing a number on the gel coat. PM me if interested.

If your looking for a cheap cover I picked one up from Northern Tools for like $80 for up to a 19' boat it's water proof. I have only had for 4 months but looks like it's holding up. It covers my 2008 196 hanging on my lift.

I have always just used a cheap WestMarine cover for like $200 and was happy. I have to say, my new Nautique came with a custom cover that is pretty awesome. I goes on like a breeze; its fits perfect and is tight enough to travel; it repells water; and the best thing is, there is zero water ponding anywhere even in heavy rain, and even in the bow area. But I think it was like an $1100 add on, so I hope it lasts.
