@Horton - the new GT in that photo above appears at least to have a beveled top edge (compared to the 90° top edge of the prior GT) above the already thin sidewall through the tail. Will that give it a little tail lift through the turn comparatively?

 

The topside view of your photo sure makes it appear so (the angular deflection of the graphics along a bevel above the sidewall), and doesn't appear to be the same as the GT tail pictured below ('16 GT with '17 graphics?)

@Horton Looks like the new fin box has some shims on each side of the fin?

What about the shims on the center clamp screw, looks like one shim is missing and the screw clamps on to nothing?

the next obvious question, "will the new fin box fit my old F1?"

 

I'm having a hard time with the mallet, getting 2.499999999" depth, which I know will get me into 41 off.

@Gloersen The bottom surface area is identical to the old GT. That ski isn't even areview ski. It is just a sample. The point is they finally got a new fin box.
