Administrators Horton Posted March 12, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 12, 2017 I was looking at this boat on BindingSideUp and I freaking love it. The black bottom and grey sides looks just awesome. Gold Member Than_Bogan Posted March 12, 2017 Gold Member Share Posted March 12, 2017 That is pretty! I've managed to get my '07 Nautique (that the ants tried to destroy by dropping a tree on it) repaired, so I think I'll go a few more years with it, but a '17 Carbon Pro might be just the ticket for me to buy used in 2020ish. So somebody keep this in good shape for me :).
Baller jjackkrash Posted March 12, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 12, 2017 A black bottom looks awesome when new, but can really show the scratches.
Baller Razorskier1 Posted March 13, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 13, 2017 Tough to keep nice on and off of a lift every day. Had a black bottom on my 197. Had it buffed every spring because it had scratches from the bunks.
Baller 6balls Posted March 13, 2017 Baller Share Posted March 13, 2017 If one extends the black up where the gray is...it gives the illusion in the water and while running in the water of a much lower profile boat...very cool. @razorskier1's promo MC 197 was like that and was a very cool look on the water. As for bunk scratches from the lift...yah not sure how to avoid that in black on the bottom-bottom.
