Baller igkya Posted July 12, 2017 Baller Share Posted July 12, 2017 Mine are 2016 Vapor boots. Recently, the BOA closure system has been causing problems by not locking closed when I try to tighten them, mostly on the rear boot, but now its started on the front. I try twisting left and right while applying downward pressure but end up having to tap/smack it with my hand to get it to lock. Never happened last year and I can't repeat the problem when the ski is off, only once I have my foot in the boot and am ready to ski. Boots (and ski) are well cared for and not abused to any degree. Any one else experience any issues with their BOA system?
Baller eddie_roberts_jr Posted July 12, 2017 Baller Share Posted July 12, 2017 You shouldn't have tap or smack it down, you should only need to push it down until it clicks. If you can't get it to hold that way it may be stripped. That would be unusual for sure but it's possible. I'd make sure there is no crud/dirt up inside there and if all else fails - call 425 369 6850 and ask for Trevor - our warranty manager.
