Baller mbabiash Posted March 9, 2018 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2018 Well I’ve had several pairs of Miami Ski Nautique gloves and a pair of stokes gloves, both of which I loved. I prefer the stokes over the MSN. I’m contemplating trying the pro gear gloves this year. Are the pro gear gloves thin like these gloves? Durable? Velcro stay put? Etc. thoughts? Baller Stevie Boy Posted March 9, 2018 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2018 I use Pro Gear Gloves, yes they are sort of thin, good grip, a lot of people use them and like them, the only thing I do is put poppers on the wrist band, the tool and the poppers are cheap. I always use these glove when skiing in Florida, helps keep the blisters away for a bit, when back home I use HO Tails. I popper all my glove for a no hassle experience, when I use the HO Tails I popper the wrist band and the back tab, works for me.
Baller DaveD Posted March 9, 2018 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2018 @Stevie Boy Poppers? First I've heard of that term. Can you explain? Glad to hear you like the Pro Gear gloves. I got a pair this winter to replace my HO Legends.
Baller Stevie Boy Posted March 9, 2018 Baller Share Posted March 9, 2018 @DaveD , I suppose you could call them press studs, you know the things that used to hold your jeans together above the zip, just looked it up, you Americans call them Snap Fastners. Baller VONMAN Posted March 13, 2018 Baller Share Posted March 13, 2018 Love Pro Gear gloves, have been using them for years. Thin, comfortable, and supper grip on the handle. Ernie Schlager
Members CaleBurdick
@mbabiash Progear gloves rock! Greatest grip. They are thinner, usually last me 100+ shortline sets. Velcro is always still in good shape when the palm dies. Hit up @PSM , my supplier, to order some. Tell him I told him to give you free shipping! Baller A_B Posted March 14, 2018 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2018 Is the sizing different compared to other gloves? They only offer up to Large. Is this really an XL in other main brands?
Baller Stevie Boy Posted March 15, 2018 Baller Share Posted March 15, 2018 @A_B , back Home I use Small HO Tails with under gloves, when I go to Florida I use Medium Pro Gear with inder gloves, I may switch to Pro Gear all the time the grip is really good with them. I do have a draw full of new HO Tails.
