Baller Ski_Dad Posted April 29, 2019 Baller Posted April 29, 2019 Still have Classic but thinking about Stargazer again -have some friends with ver 8.05. Does anyone know what's changed in 9.2 - and can you change the slalom set point with less button presses now ?
Baller UWSkier Posted April 29, 2019 Baller Posted April 29, 2019 Slalom set point change requires you to hit "Menu" until set speed is highlighted, then just up or down arrow until you reach desired point. If you're not changing things like skier size or zbox between skiers, it should be pretty easy.
Baller Bill22 Posted April 30, 2019 Baller Posted April 30, 2019 I don’t think ver. 8 has the quick auto speed calibration that does not require a course.
Baller GregHind Posted April 30, 2019 Baller Posted April 30, 2019 9.2 is totally upgraded from 8.x locks in to speed really fast, auto calibration is great
Baller On_edge Posted April 30, 2019 Baller Posted April 30, 2019 I upgraded my 2003 SN last month to 9.20, in GPS Slalom the cursor rests on the setpoint speed so the UP or DOWN keys immediately change the speed by one standard step i.e. from 32.3 mph (52 kph) to 34.2 (55) with one press. In Practice mode it sits on Fine Adjust and each press gives you a 0.1 mph change and one MENU press takes you to the standard setpoint change.
Baller GregHind Posted April 30, 2019 Baller Posted April 30, 2019 @On_edge thank you I run 9.1 and didn’t know about the change to speed adjust. Winter is about to start here sounds like I will be ordering another upgrade before next summer....
Baller Ski_Dad Posted April 30, 2019 Author Baller Posted April 30, 2019 @On_edge - that's great info - i was hoping for that ! That right there is going to justify my expense because I ski with a bunch of differnet drivers
