Buchanon lake TX

Does anyone know if there are any slalom courses on Buchanon Lake in Tx.

They just opened a Mountain bike lift park,

might be the best place in the world to live if they have slalom course or two

@ToddF there isn't any slalom courses that I know of. Buchanon is such a large and open basin and its not constant level. The water dropped dramatically during the drought about 5 years ago rendering most boat ramps unusable. Just below Lake Buchanon is Lake LBJ. There is a slalom course on Lake LBJ and its constant level and the conditions are usually better. I saw the chair lift mountain bike park too. Looks cool. Cheers!

Years ago there was a slalom course on Buchanan that was maintained by a couple of families that were competitive skiers. It was over by Council Creek. Like a lot of public places to ski, those families went by the wayside once their kids graduated and went off to college in the 90s.

It used to be between camp champion and the mouth of the two rivers. Doubt it made it through the flood last fall
