Skiing at Okeeheelee

Curious if there is a way to ski by the set at Okeeheelee. Will be in WPB area at Christmas and looking at skiing options. Thanks

Not “officially.” You can show up with a can of gas and get someone to give you a pull or you can contact Steve Schnitzer who can probably help you out. He has a website and you can contact him there.

Hi Jeff,

As @lpskier says, you can show up at the lake and ask for a pull, but there is no 'ski school' per se at Okeeheelee. I'm not sure if I'll be around at that time, but you can DM me as the date gets closer.

 

Christmas time through New Years is one of the busiest times of the year....there may be 15+ boats in the middle of the day, so it takes considerable time to get a ski set.

 

The best option, if you have limited time, is to ski at Hobe Lake Ski Club as you can schedule and pay for your set online. Ski set's are blocked off in 30 minute increments from 7am-7pm. It's about 35 minutes north of WPB proper.
