You only hear it (and just barely) while crossing the wakes, even with it way above good neighbor volume. Works for surfers but that will probably never be me. Does it work well? My experience is that you can listen to music only when at idle, when in the course you hear nothing but the engine, if you can listen to music while cruising then it will interest some, not all for sure.
