  1. I stumbled onto 4 pair of streightline gloves on eBay. Bought all 4. Age has caused the stitching on the sides of the fingers to fail early. I keep stitching them up.
  2. They made both 20i and 21i. The 21 was wider and longer.
  3. I’m really cheep but I have learned not to waste time trying to lube a bad cable. There are some good guides on replacement on this forum and YouTube. If you change your own oil you can handle this. The cable bolts onto the back side of the wheel and is held by a pivot pin on the rudder. The fastest way is to cut the old cable, duct tape it to the new one and pull it through.
  4. When I used to tarp under a carport by myself I used a 6 inch pvc pipe to roll the tarp back to front. My tarp had a strong draw string and only needed attached from the front and back.
  5. https://www.amazon.com/Bissell-Hard-Surface-Cleaner-39N7A-39N71/dp/B001EYHAGS I used something like this. Worked great , but only lasted a few uses. Also a fan of Dawn, heat and time. If that didn’t work I would use a small amount of carburetor cleaner.
  6. I have always used shaving-cream rather than soap. Fits in a cup holder, rinses off instantly, won’t spill on carpet.
  7. Yep, time to change. Fairly easy . Goes best if you have a friend who has done it before help. Several tutorials on line.
  8. I just bought one rated at 50 from Costco less then one hour ago. Impulse buy for $12.
  9. I have seen boats lifted by Inflating tractor tire inter tubes. You’ll have to build some kind of platform to push against.
  10. I’m trying to get my college age niece and nephew to spend the rest of the school year at the lake. Our season is about to start. I personally have missed no events . Does that mean I live a limited and boring life?
  11. We actually used a trail cam to catch a kid/vandal/thief that was breaking into our church. I don’t recall the brand but it was a low end motion activated. We turned off the flash and used night vision mode. Pretty easy to hide.
  12. Swick......as in “this glass is so slick it’s sick.
  13. I owned a 98. 21I. For 19 years. I loved it. Wakes are ok. Did great in rough water if you ever need to take it out on big water. That boat was bulletproof. Never let us down.
  14. I had a Tig’e 21 I for 15 years. Handled rough water better than any other inboard.
  15. I have a friend here in Las Vegas that went skydiving, scuba diving, wake boarding and Snowboarding all on his 40th birthday.
  16. 20 some years ago I skied with some guys in Nebraska that put up a portable course on a public lake. It was an oval with an island in the center. You drove in a circle like a racetrack with the entrance gates coming out of turn four and the exit gates in turn one.
  17. I have seen people just carry bags of quickcreet and set them in place, paper and all.
  18. If top speed is limited because you can not pull redline, you need a smaller prop. If limited by hitting redline you need a bigger one. I have an oj 13.7 by 15 on the shelf if your interested. Last boat I bought came with 4 props.
  19. Ditto in the fuel and plugs. The newer “reformulated fuel” deteriorate much faster then just a few years ago. I now store with the tank empty. Good luck.
  20. I use a wakeboard fat sack filled about 1/4 full. Fills and empty’s in about one minute.
  21. The postal service trucks in my neighborhood shut off at each house. must be hundreds of starts per day.
  22. Many truck stops have certified scales. Last I checked $25. They always weigh moor than you think.
  23. I had a meter stop on a 2000 merc . I ended up paying a dealer $100 to scan it and print out a report so I could sell it.
