Baller pugs Posted January 8, 2020 Baller Share Posted January 8, 2020 Please help an old Nautique guy out. I found these black plastic pieces sliding around loose in the bilge area in front of the pylon. What are they and do they have any function? I could not find any info in the manual. Thanks in advance.
Baller_ The_MS Posted January 8, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted January 8, 2020 They run on the floor under the center seat and into under the bow. Place them in order snd they usually stay in place
Baller skihacker Posted January 8, 2020 Baller Share Posted January 8, 2020 The funny looking cutout sits above the hull drain. They work quite well to keep stored stuff off the very bottom of the bilge,
Baller Drbach Posted January 10, 2020 Baller Share Posted January 10, 2020 What year Prostar do you have?
Administrators Horton Posted January 10, 2020 Administrators Share Posted January 10, 2020 Those things have been in every ProStar I've had (6 total). I know they have a purpose but I've always just ignored them. Baller pugs Posted January 10, 2020 Author Baller Share Posted January 10, 2020 Thanks for the insights. 2018 MC which I bought as a promo in fall of 2018. No issues until recently (now 325 hrs) when a couple friends came down from NC to ski over the holidays. We would hear an occasional random ping which we thought might be a lose pylon. Checked pylon, which really wasn't lose and still heard the occasional ping. We thought it might be something rolling around somewhere in the bilge area and discovered the black pieces. Never knew they were there. Our boat pretty much functions as a slalom tractor so I'll ignore them as well and put them in the garage.
