Baller aupatking Posted February 13, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 13, 2020 Is it an invasion of privacy to google map a lake and ask, “anybody know who’s lake this is” and, “can I ski with you”? If it’s ok If it’s not ok. Nothing to see here...... move along
Baller_ The_MS Posted February 13, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted February 13, 2020 Can I come over and hang by the pool and drink Hazys?
Baller buechsr Posted February 13, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 13, 2020 I believe that might be the instaslalom folks' lake.
Baller MuskokaKy Posted February 13, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 13, 2020 @aupatking i do the exact same thing all the time. I don't think your offside at all. Skiers are a pretty friendly breed....you may be surprised with the response :)

Baller 75Tique Posted February 14, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 14, 2020 No, its fine. Do it all the time, like Lakes of Katy (TX) for example. One thing that stands out at that site is the guy's place at the arrow. I know there are 1 or 2 Lakes of Katy guys on here. This place belong to you? Clearly he is not in the same career as I am. Baller 75Tique Posted February 14, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 14, 2020 This is just up the road from me. It is not a ski lake, but it certainly should be. Never been, only have seen it on the map, unfortunately it is owned by a Masons lodge. I am guessing they wouldnt let me put buoys on it.

Baller Kelvin Posted February 14, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 14, 2020 @75Tique He is a retired oil company executive. Super nice guy and gracious to allow us to use the upper level of his dock for scoring/judging when we have tournaments. We refer to his back yard as the Katy Schlitterbahn. Pullhard
If you want a better view, try Google Earth or Google Earth Pro ! It will take you right down to the water and you can view 360 degrees around the area. Don't need an address. Just the general area to search and you can zoom in ! Baller Roger Posted February 15, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 15, 2020 Google Earth will zoom in enough to see buoys... (Okeeheelee Park).
