Is it an invasion of privacy to google map a lake and ask, “anybody know who’s lake this is” and, “can I ski with you”?

If it’s ok

If it’s not ok.

No, its fine. Do it all the time, like Lakes of Katy (TX) for example. One thing that stands out at that site is the guy's place at the arrow. I know there are 1 or 2 Lakes of Katy guys on here. This place belong to you? Clearly he is not in the same career as I am.

This is just up the road from me. It is not a ski lake, but it certainly should be. Never been, only have seen it on the map, unfortunately it is owned by a Masons lodge. I am guessing they wouldnt let me put buoys on it.

@75Tique He is a retired oil company executive. Super nice guy and gracious to allow us to use the upper level of his dock for scoring/judging when we have tournaments. We refer to his back yard as the Katy Schlitterbahn.

If you want a better view, try Google Earth or Google Earth Pro ! It will take you right down to the water and you can view 360 degrees around the area. Don't need an address. Just the general area to search and you can zoom in !
