Baller BTheis Posted July 15, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2020 Last week after installing a perfect pass stargazer upgrade we ran into problems with the engine surging And I couldn’t figure it out. When my friend contacted the folks at perfect pass he was unable to do the tests because of lack of knowledge and understanding. Mark at PP gave my friend his personal cellphone number and had us call on his personal time when we could all line up our times. We solved the problem in short order , big thanks to Mark and the the good people at Perfect Pass great customer service!

Baller jcamp Posted July 15, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 15, 2020 The PerfectPass people are awesome. Not having them as involved with the sport any more (through no fault of their own) has been a big loss for skiing.
Baller_ Wish Posted July 15, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted July 15, 2020 There’s got to be a dozen threads on how well PP does on the customer service end of things. Testament to a great company.
Baller ALPJr Posted July 16, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 16, 2020 I guess it depends on how you define the sport. Pretty much 90% of the boats I’ve trained behind for the past 20 years have PP.

Baller BraceMaker Posted July 16, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 16, 2020 @ALPJr well as in you haven't been able to use a ski boat in tournament that had PP installed in it for 12 years - maybe 11 if you're talking being able to use last years hull and approved speed control in a lower level event. Most of the patents enovation controls filed for the original system expire 2025 - not sure what that holds for the future.
Baller ALPJr Posted July 16, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 16, 2020 Training not tournaments @BraceMaker Been to a few tourneys haven’t felt a noticeable difference in the pull.
