Baller Bill22 Posted July 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2020 Last summer my buddy learned to slalom, he was instantly hooked and in no time he bought this 1974 Ski Nautique “The Ski King II”. Last week he bought a portable course and is keeping it up on public water. He is so fired up his energy is contagious, I had twice the fun as skiing on a pristine man made lake w/ a promo boat. And the best part, he is a wakeboarder! So every time he skis, there’s one less wake barge on the river.

Baller eyepeeler Posted July 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2020 That is REAL skiing...without all of the new fangled, high dollar, sorry a$$ed bulls%%t. Now all you need is a Maharaja with a rubber tip.
Baller epnault Posted July 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2020 Does it have foot pedal for throttle?
Baller Bill22 Posted July 18, 2020 Author Baller Share Posted July 18, 2020 @epnault It doesn’t. The first time I got in the driver’s seat, I saw the hand throttle and I still looked for a foot pedal. :) @thager yeah, I skied at 30mph to test the waters. @eyepeeler yep, B2 doesn’t mean anything on this boat! Baller 75Tique Posted July 18, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 18, 2020 Last of the CC foot pedals was around 1967-1968. Not sure the Nautique ever did but I know the 16 footers(Mustang, skylark, and probably some others) did.
Baller MDB1056 Posted July 20, 2020 Baller Share Posted July 20, 2020 My brother in law has a 73 and yes the wakes are terrible, but at 28 or shorter they’re not nearly as bad . And yep......no mistaking their sound
