Senate Alloy

I am currently skiing a 2009 HO Monza, open water 36 MPH at 28 off. I am looking at getting a Senate Alloy, will I be disappointed with this ski? Also considering the HO Carbon Omni, any first hand experience would be great since I have not rode either of theses skis.

My opinion if you really ski open water 36 don't consider anything other than top end skis. Vapor pro, maybe from a Monza the Connelly GT-R might be a really good pick. Something that rides deep and cuts. For HO the syndicate pro.

The two skis you mentioned are considered 34mph skis. The Omni and Senate are both great skis, but I've never tried either above 34mph.

@bhammer your profile says that you ski behind a Response LXi. That should have a nice wake at 34. I'd slow it down and get a Senate, Omni, or V. You will be able to ski longer and have a ton of fun on any of these at 34 mph. Just my opinion.

Thanks guys, I ski at 36 because that is what the Monza seems to want, definitely not against slowing down to 34. Closest coarse is over an hour away, and I don't have the time to dedicate to getting there, so I don't really see myself doing anything other than open water.
