Mayhem
How long did you wait? I am 3 days out and feel almost normal. Is it worth a shot to try to make some turns tomorrow? Open water, nothing crazy. I've been back to work for 2 days doing finish carpentry, and it didn't set me back. Need some perspective.

Baller MNshortliner Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 @mayhem if you want to “shoot” back at someone you got to be more clever than that. This ain’t 3rd grade. @ScottScott ... hilarious Forgot the quotation marks.

Baller ScottScott Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 Sorry, sore balls are nothing to laugh at. I got mine snipped many years ago. They say you won't have any more kids, but for me they just changed color....
Baller UWSkier Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 Your kids changed color?
Baller MuskokaKy Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 about as long as it takes to grow back another pair!
Baller jercrane Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 Depends if you have stitches still. If you do I would wait until those are out and maybe even give it another day or two after that for the stitch holes to close. Infection is the real risk and lake/pond water is not a clean environment. You DO NOT want an infection in that region.
Buxrus
Had it done Friday at 2. Skied Sunday.
Baller Killer Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 I'd wait a couple weeks. They say 5-7 days for scalpaless for any real activities. They fail fairly often. I know of a few guys that didn't wait for the test 3 months after and had a surprise... It's surgery, follow Dr orders!
Baller A_B Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 If you ski and you have two painful grapefruits hanging later in the day, you know it was too early....
Baller oldjeep Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 Your body will tell you. First time I had it done after the 2nd kid it was no big deal, felt back to normal in a few days. The second time I got it done after the 3rd it was more like a week and a half. BTW - make sure to go in for the follow up test ;)

Supporting Member Than_Bogan Posted August 1, 2020 Supporting Member Share Posted August 1, 2020 Mine was done in the winter, but WOW would I not be in a hurry to get back in lake water after vasectomy.
Baller Jordan Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 This is a tender topic and a sensitive time. Just make sure that you have good support. Get out there and have a ball. Keep a bag of frozen peas handy...lol
Baller BlueSki Posted August 1, 2020 Baller Share Posted August 1, 2020 Why wouldn’t you wait until winter? That is a horrible place to develop gangrene due to infection. I hope the cure is not amputation if you get infected, although that would aid in achieving your primary objective.

Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted August 2, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted August 2, 2020 @oldjeep second time? what the heck?!? Doc missed something or was it just so much fun you had to go back for more? If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Members RGilmore
A friend of mine had to get snipped twice. They discovered there was a third "micro" vas deferens that was still releasing swimmers after many months and several tests.
