Baller ski6jones Posted January 13, 2021 Baller Share Posted January 13, 2021 Pretty cool story about a guy skiing at Mavericks during the recent epic swell. Skis are custom made doubles but still pretty cool. Doesn't show how he started although I'm sure he must have been towed in.https://fox5sandiego.com/sports/socal-skier-rides-giant-waves-at-mavericks-on-custom-water-skis/

Baller oldjeep Posted January 13, 2021 Baller Share Posted January 13, 2021 Good downhill form. That looks fun in a scary kind of way. Funny that the skis you see in the background of the interview are using downhill ski bindings - old salomons.
Baller_ MarcusBrown Posted January 13, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted January 13, 2021 Here's Chuck back in 2011 doing the same thing at Jaws. Dude is a legend. He and I have spoken a couple times now about doing a FlowPointTV episode...

HighAltitude
You got to have serious stones just to get in the water at Mavericks. The swells they are getting this year are sick!
