Baller rbuss4 Posted February 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 3, 2021 Watching this unboxing was like watching 30 clowns get out of a little car! :) Awesome score on lots of nice stuff. Both of my sons wear Follow vests. They make really nice stuff.
Baller Broussard Posted February 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 3, 2021 Danyelle brought Follow into the Bennett's Pro Shop this past year. The gear seems to be really high quality. Interested to see what people think about this new water ski specific vest. .
Baller robmollysilverlake Posted February 3, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 3, 2021 How did they get all of that stuff into one bag!?!
Baller_ The_MS Posted February 3, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted February 3, 2021 The web site is awesome. The wet suit page uses Jim Morrison as the model for the suits
Baller ColeGiacopuzzi Posted February 4, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 4, 2021 All of their stuff is very high quality I'm super impressed. I'm stoked their sliding into waterskiing with more gear coming out in the future. The vest is awesome, it never slides up ever on you due to the tight fit near the waist and buckle. Supporting Member Than_Bogan Posted February 4, 2021 Supporting Member Share Posted February 4, 2021 Ooh I really like the look of that. If the belts are fairly tight, does it give support similar to a light back-support belt? I would consider that a great feature if so.
Baller ColeGiacopuzzi Posted February 4, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 4, 2021 I wouldn't say its like a light back support, but it might be if you tighten the buckle tight enough. its fairly tight at the bottom already, which is really nice. No need to pull down the vest after getting up or anything it stays in place. @Than_Bogan Radar Skis Follow Instagram
Baller Broussard Posted July 29, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 29, 2021 Has anyone had a chance to get their hands on the Follow Origins vest? If so, what are your thoughts? .
Administrators Horton Posted July 30, 2021 Administrators Share Posted July 30, 2021 @Broussard I don't think they've hit dealer shelves yet. I have an early version that I love and one that I think is the final version that is super awesome except I have lost weight and it doesn't fit me. it might be a good reason to start drinking beer again. Baller thager Posted July 30, 2021 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2021 Follow Vests makes more sense than Lead Vests I guess. Lead tends to be kinda heavy...
Baller MattP Posted August 17, 2021 Baller Share Posted August 17, 2021 Took my first set in my Follow vest yesterday. I really like the thin profile and as @ColeGiacopuzzi mentioned its a much tighter fit in the waist which keeps it from riding up like other vests. The flotation seemed it was much better than some of the other common vests in the market. Looking forward to having another option in the ski industry. Baller Dockoelboto Posted August 18, 2021 Baller Share Posted August 18, 2021 Anyone have any comments on protection/rib padding? I've been interested in Stokes evo2 but they seem to be out everywhere
Baller skihart Posted August 19, 2021 Baller Share Posted August 19, 2021 @MattP hows the sizing compare to say Eagle? Large is a Large?
Baller Zman Posted October 7, 2021 Baller Share Posted October 7, 2021 Received my vest last week. As @MattP noted, the vest fits snugger in the waist, which I like. I purchased a Medium, and it fits very similar to my Eagle large. Also fits a bit more snug then my medium O'neill Slasher vest before it loosened up from usage. The waste fit is snug to where it is a little tough to get the zipper started, but feels great once zipped. I expect it will loosen a bit with usage. I won't know for a while, it's a Christmas gift. Baller Broussard Posted October 7, 2021 Baller Share Posted October 7, 2021 I got one of the 2021 Follow Origins vest just after US Nationals in August. After about a month off the water I finally got a chance to ski a handful of sets with it. The quality of the materials used and the design of the vest is first class. The Origins vest is extremely comfortable, thin, lightweight, and buoyant enough for a COMP vest. What more could you ask for? I am excited to see the future of the Follow Origins line. @skihart I wear a Small Follow vest and Small Eagle vest. .
