Baller skibrain Posted June 5, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 5, 2021 My buddy’s Evo has the extra set of front inserts. Not using them with his D3 bindings mounted.
Baller dave2ball Posted June 5, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 5, 2021 @jimski yes this is normal. The inserts are designed to fit most mfg bindings with different hole patterns. Measure from the heel of your front boot or shell to the tail and you should find in some in the hole pattern for your binding. Do worry about the unused inserts. Baller skialex Posted June 5, 2021 Baller Share Posted June 5, 2021 Since 2020 D3 has added 2 extra inserts on the 67” and 68” skis for skiers that use the size12 reflex, or similar hard shell system. If you are size 12 reflex user you can use the front set of inserts, but it is not necessary to put 8 screws, you can move the front ones to the extra inserts. I guess it’s very rare to have very big feet and ski on a 66” or smaller...
