Barefoot boom height adjuster

Does anyone have experience with these? How do they work? Are they necessary?

 

I use a barefoot international off my SN200 with an extension and handle. I'm always adjusting the height for who is footing (height, ability) and was curious if this would be of help.

They are ok. Otherwise loosen and slide your bracket--I kept a ratchet in the boat appropriate size at all times. What I do most often, though, is shift the passengers.

I have one for my 200. It works. It’s not necessary but if you have different sized skiers and don’t want to move the clamp from a certain sweet spot it saves the hassle of wrenching. I never left the mount in place, so I already had the wrench out and think I have only used the height adjuster once or twice.

 

I have not used my boom in years, so if you want one, I’m happy to sell you my height adjuster. Let me know if you plan to go to any of the Ohio tournaments or the collegiate home tournament.
