Baller schafer Posted June 30, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 30, 2022 Can someone smarter than me tell me how to find/access the test port on my fuel rail in a 2016 PCM 6.2 L?
Baller skiinxs Posted July 1, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 1, 2022 You read fuel pressure with Diacom. The direct injection engines run VERY high fuel pressure. You would certainly not want to hook up a conventional fuel pressure gauge to a valve on a fuel rail if it were available, it would explode. Fuel pressure can get as high as 3,000 PSI. That is scuba tank pressure! With those engines injector pulse duration stays constant with the fuel curve controlled by the varying fuel pressure. At idle around 500 - 800 PSI and at higher RPM's it goes way up from there. Are you sure it is a 2016? I thought the direct injected 6.2 availability from PCM started in 2017.
