Baller skiermanbrad Posted July 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 20, 2022 Forgive my ignorance, but do all skis have the same mounting pattern for bindings? If so, how long have they all been using the same pattern?

Baller skiermanbrad Posted July 20, 2022 Author Baller Share Posted July 20, 2022 Thanks. Particularly interested in front right now. How long have all the manufacturers been using the current mounting pattern?
Administrators Horton Posted July 21, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 21, 2022 @skiermanbrad Standard hole patterns on front bindings have been around for maybe 20 years. Back bindings are more tricky. Most back bindings are interchangeable but not all. The front holes on most back bindings are all the same but the back holes are not. For a while Radar & HO back holes were the same and Connelly / D3 were not the same but similar. Now many high end skis have 2 sets of inserts for those back screws. Mid range skis are more likely to not have the extra set of inserts.
