Baller UWSkier Posted September 12, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2022 Unfortunately I lost my rope and handle on Monday. S-Lines and In-Tow were able to get me set up with new gear in just a few days time and get me back on the water quickly. Happy customer for life! Baller dbutcher Posted September 12, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2022 Thanks for your post. You made me remember why I always have a spare rope and handle on hand.
Baller UWSkier Posted September 12, 2022 Author Baller Share Posted September 12, 2022 I have spares but they're brands and styles I no longer use and are a bit worn out. If I can avoid losing this new combination, it will be my spare someday. :)
Baller MDB1056 Posted September 12, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2022 @UWSkier - Curious - how did you lose them? I've never been concerned about losing either of them. Might save some of us the same someday
Baller UWSkier Posted September 12, 2022 Author Baller Share Posted September 12, 2022 @MDB1056 Rope changeover error in 110' of water. Handle pulled the whole works down to the depths of Davey Jones' locker. :(
Baller MDB1056 Posted September 12, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 12, 2022 Yikes!!! I guess the good news is it wasn’t a $1000 watch.
Baller GaryJanzig Posted September 14, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 14, 2022 I order cylinder shaped float for my handles.
Baller BraceMaker Posted September 14, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 14, 2022 The other popular one to lose is a unhooked hardshell sitting in the boat and the rope grabs it and it jumps ship.
