2024 Nationals

Does anyone know where the Nationals are going to be in 2024?  Just trying to plan ahead.

The bid has not been awarded. Ski West Village in Bakersfield (really Arvin) CA. looks like it will be the venue. No other bids as of the Winter AWSA BOD meeting. Board votes at the summer meeting in August. 
 

I hear Wilmington is interested again and may bid for ‘25.

Usually when Okeeheelee bids for Nationals they get 2 years in a row.

@skierjp They bid for two years, got one (because only a bid for 2023 was solicited) and later withdrew their bid for ‘24.

The conditions in Bakersfield are maybe the best in the world. It will be hot and the water will be flat. Everyone will get the same water conditions.  I skied at SkiWest yesterday and as always it was perfect.

There are several sites that have expressed an interest in 2025 and 2026, hopefully we will have a new place to go.

@LLUSA Are we soliciting two year bids? Or do we have sites interested in one year or the other?

I prefer bids for two years but one year is always an option
