Baller PacMan Posted April 28, 2023 Baller Share Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) I just bought my wife a new ski this year, while looking at it this morning I noticed stress cracks around the rear inserts for mounting the binding as though they were over torqued while installing. How concerned should I be? Or can we just ignore it? Edited April 28, 2023 by PacMan
Baller liquid d Posted April 28, 2023 Baller Share Posted April 28, 2023 not concerned at all. That won't affect a thing. They don't soak up water. If you feel better about it, dab it with clear nail polish.
Baller B_S Posted April 28, 2023 Baller Share Posted April 28, 2023 Looks like it's just the top skin layer so should be fine.
Baller BraceMaker Posted April 28, 2023 Baller Share Posted April 28, 2023 I might pull the binding and just put a straight edge across the two rear inserts and make sure it doesn't look like it pulled up. But you don't even have a screw in that insert.
