Other than the Boltons by marinizers, there’s not a whole lot of variation in 5.7L engines. I had an LCR in a response for many years. It was rated at 320 hp. Plenty of power for skiing. As far as I know it's same as the Monsoon 335/340/350 but different exhaust manifolds as include CAT and obviously some ECM tweaks. The Monsoons have very good reputation. Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted May 22 Baller_ Share Posted May 22 (edited) ok! vortec engines: known issues. cross migration between cylinders is a common failure (head gasket). intake manifold leakage. circulation pump failure. indmar issues: to many hardware changes and lack of information of the many parts. some had the propensity to break the alternator bolt. wobbly raw water pumps. casting plugs In exhaust manifolds leakage. then there are a myriad of issues with the ls platforms..
