  1. This 2009 196 was bought in 2019 in Louisiana from I think from the original owner.Chad Scott well known driver and slalom skier knew the boat and owner. He verified to me that the boat was in excellent condition and the owner really took care of it.At the time of purchase the boat hd approx 1100 hrs and today it has 1228 hrs.I think its the Limited edition with all of the bells and whistles which include ZERO OFF,FULL GAUGE PACKAGE,PCM EX 343,STEREO, FIBERGLASS PLATFORM, HYDROGATE and a single axle galvanized trailer with new tires and a spare. The owner of the boat is a young female real estate agent who enjoys slalom skiing on the whitefish chain of lakes inCrosslake,MN.Also has a new cover.Only reason the boat is for sale is due to her buying a 2023 Nautique 200.Boat has been winterized by local marine dealer every fall and stored inside heated storage. The boat is MINT CONDITION AND PRICED AT $30,000........This is below book value and certainly what the market value would be.Come and ski and drive your new boat soon.....This is a great boat at a great price.Contact Ron at 218-851-2801 for any questions..........
  2. I have a 2009 196 with approx 1200 hrs with zero off loaded and in pristine condition.Purchased by a young female slalom skier in 2019 and only used on a northern MN clean chain of lakes.Complete set of photos and more info coming SATURDAY APRIL 27TH......BEST OF ALL THE PRICE!! Tune in Saturday.....
  3. I weigh around 175 depending on the day and being old it seems to fluctuate.I seem to be right on the bubble when choosing between 66 or 67 ski.I seem to choose the 67 more and I am curious to what are the benefits for a longer ski.I have heard that a longer ski gives you more surface area and you won't tire out as fast.So ballers help me out on this issue.....Whats better for an old guy...I only open water ski at 34 to 36 mph depending on conditions
  4. Just curious any ballers skiing this ski.I think I did a demo on this ski back in 2020 and did not like it. I assume they have changed this ski since 2020 and I can buy a new one for less then a used one.Any skier input would be most appreciated I can at least have it in my boathouse as a backup ski.I am currently skiing a 2023 KD platinum and like it however always looking for new skis to enjoy......thanks
  5. Is anybody tried the bent handle made by slines? I like the ropes and have been using us gear and intow handles.Just curious how their handles work and compare to the other ones.Any info would be appreciated......
  6. I bought in 1999 and retired in 2001 and was skiing everyday.I pretty much had the lake to myself.Since 2020 due to the pandemic and civil unrest all of the lots are sold and more people are here full time in the summer. Its way too busy to ski at times......
  7. How do these compare to the stokes vest?? I need a new one......Any comments will be appreciated
  8. I have bought and sold all of the older boats and one of my favs would be my 2001 GEKKO GTR.Fantastic wake at all line lengths and you can buy one and it won't drain your bank acct.....
  9. Looks decent probably a good buy for a great boat......
  10. Big price difference between your choices.I would decide on a price and take your time and get the boat you want. However I think you need to drive and ski the different boats.I have owned many older boats and they all seem to handle and ski differently and we all have likes and dislikes........
  11. @LarryG Thanks for the website really use it and enjot it.....Will make a donation
  12. You are one lucky guy.....Beautiful boat
  13. This is probably a beautiful home on a Great Lake priced to the mkt.Look at the number of people moving to Florida and the demand for housing.I live on a beautiful lk in northern Minnesota and our recent sales are at $1 million and over. With buyers coming from other states with cash to enjoy our short summers on all of the lakes.Housing prices are high.........
  14. For me IThink you have to test as many skis that you can.Its probably difficult to do however when you get that right fit you will know it.....66 or 67. and which brand and model will work for you.
  15. @LeonL Carbon pro I think is a great boat and you can buythem for a lot less. And yes boats are still priced high since the pandemic.
  16. I live in northern MN. and always ski into October. However this yr I had back problems in August and Sept and missed 3 1/2 wks of skiing. My last ski day was sept 21 and I had surgery on my hand on Oct 5th.I now have a cast for a month and rehab to follow. So for me not the best ski season......
  17. @The_MS Thanks for the offer. You have a beautiful place and if I were not so old I would of bought your neighbors place.Just had surgery on my right thumb and in a cast for a month and weeks of rehab. Also threw my back out and lost 3 1/2 wks of late summer MN skiing.I think my back injury was caused by the fall I took from that wake/surf boat. Its tough being 75 and having the parts wear out.Kee.p skiing you folks are in a great place......
  18. I really like the KD platinum ski and the price was certainly right.Maybe next yr I will try the titanium and compare the 2 skis.Maybe @The_MS will send me his ski to try.It would be a nice gesture to help out an old senior citizen make his day better......
  19. I think the big 3 newer boats are still way over priced........
  20. @Horton This summer I could pick up a 15 to 17 carbon pro with zo for way less then any MC 2014 OR NEWER BOAT......
  21. Probably a great boat for footin. We need someone to ski it and foot behind it.I don't think the barefoot mkt is that big. I am the only barefooter on my lake. And yes the CARBON PRO I THINK IS A GREAT BOAT YOU CAN BUY FOR LESS MONEY.The J-CRAFT would be a fabulous all around boat for a guy like me.Great wake for slalom and barefoot and ZERO MAINTENANCE!! And yes people would rather buy a used big 3 boat then the GEKKO GTR OR CARBON PRO........I think some of it was poor marketing.I bought my Gekko in 2001 and most people knew very little about the boat however once they skied it they were impressed.Same with the carbon pro that I owned......
  22. Yes they are custom boat builders and you canorder different things and colors.Go to their website and you tube and watch how they handle.I think they would do very well around turn islands.I think they drive like a sports car.....I would love to on one
  23. Here are some photos of a new J-CRAFT.Would like one with the 250HP Yamaha....Would be a fantastic boat for barefoot and slalom......
