  1. One of my ski partners wants to buy a Nautique 200 open bow.Probably interested in a 2012 to 2015......Please contact me as our lakes are open and we are ready to ski. thanks
  2. @Taynton Thanks however I want the pro build. @skibrain I ck everyday and have bought many items on SIA.
  3. I am interested in a 67 KD titanium or platinum.Also would like a 67 D3 nrg2.Also a radar vapor pro build would prefer 2021 or newer......thx
  4. @Horton I know you are busy however would you please answer my questions in my post....thanks
  5. @Horton Just curious how this contest works. On 4/19 you posted the top 4 persons and and I had 49 points and the number 4 person had 22 points. 12 days later the winner had 73 and was not in the top 4 on the 19th so I am guessing he had less then 22 points at that time. What scores points?? Did you use the voting machines from our last election to tally the results?? lol......
  6. If anyone is looking for one of these older fine boats ck the one out on Seattle craigslist. It looks nice and is priced at $14,750.If its legit someone will enjoy this ski machine.I am temporarily out of the boat business otherwise I would be on it.
  7. I need a new vest and stokes is a advertiser and sells good products. Was wondering if this is a good choice for a non CGA vest and does it seem to fit true to size.
  8. I don't see any KD titanium skis on SIA now....
  9. Taking a ski run just before the summer storm is about to hit your lake. The calm before the storm......Perfect water and no boats!!
  10. I know @The_MS is skiing the KD Titanium I am wondering about the platinum green/black version .In the description Terry Winter writes a great review and the ski is priced at $899. Has anyone skied this one and if so any comments.i am looking to buy some skis now and hope my ice leaves my lake someday soon......
  11. I have always had a difficult time on selecting which size of ski to buy.I seem to be on the bubble most of the time and I know its a personal preference however its difficult to demo due to I usually buy used skis.As I get older its more difficult due to gaining weight and having a more difficult time getting rid of it.I was once told that the larger the ski the more balance you have or its easier to ski.I know that's the case with snow skiing however perhaps not with water. My ski season in this cold northern climate also makes it difficult to choose due to how short it is.Does the make of the ski make a difference and also the total surface area of the ski.It seems the new skis are different.Any comments would be helpful for an old dog struggling to find that perfect ski that makes it easier to ski.....
  12. @Horton Which goode skis did you really like and I think rated one of them at the top of your list??
  13. Babes products are fantastic and I have been using them for years. And yes I am sure it will be slippery however a great product.
  14. I had a Goode ski probably 15 yrs ago and have not skied one since.I see on the goodedealz website they have the older models available now for less money.Does anyone have any info on how the XTR OR NANO 1 XT performs.I have owned the top Radar,D3 and HO skis however just thought I would try a Goode due to many skiers enjoying them. These refurb skis can't be returned so any info would be great.I know @Horton rated some of the Goode line as his fav skis.Remember I am an old guy that usually skis at 34mph on a shortline rope and enjoys the thrill of going fast and cutting in open water skiing on a public lake.Any info would be most appreciated.....
  15. @Ski2000 Not really its tougher now to find that one and they do less for you.!!
  16. @6balls Just looking its a tough market.Things are ok the knees and thumbs are really old......thx for checking
  17. I know of a couple carbon pros for sale one on SIA and only inboards.Any ballers know of any other ones for sale.........
  18. @MitchellM This boat if its legit is going to be a good buy for someone. If I were you I would contact the seller and ck into it further.Go drive and ski it.....If it feels good to you buy it
  19. This boat looks really nice and I think someone in another post contacted the seller or had info.If this boat is legit it would be a good buy for someone.I left a msg for the seller however have not heard back.Anyone have info on this boat would be great......
  20. Its great to see all of the comments and I think we all agree things are very expensive. @Horton you are right about the corvette they are also like many things we all enjoy have gotten very pricey.Look at how expensive skis and all of our equipment has gotten.Docks and lifts here in the midwest are crazy expensive just having our stuff put in and taken out every yr is going up.I LOVE TO SKI and will continue to do so however I buy used and always shop around for the best deal.
  21. I love the sport and have been doing it for over 60 yrs however it is very expensive. Not only boats have gone up but look at skis that are selling for $2200 add costs of bindings ropes gloves and everything else.I probably burn 300 gallons of gas every summer and my supplier last summer wanted $1.25 more a gallon to deliver. I will continue to ski however usually buy used .....
  22. I do the same when I buy my Harleys don't buy from the dealer due to inflated prices.......Plus the private party can give me info on the history of the item I am buying
  23. I always bought all of my boats from private partys due to talking with the owner able to get more info on the boat and also you can see how they take care of their cars home and what else is there.Plus the boats are always cheaper and no sales tax where I live.
  24. @dave2ball IN MN. we do not pay sales tax on a boat if bought from a private party.Only sales tax on the trailer.......
  25. I am sure all of us are not happy with the cost of boats today.Unless you are @Horton who has a new one every yr. I think a 2023 MC PS probably is around $120,000. Now you can find a 2022 MC PS with low hrs for $89,000. And others in between those prices depending on hrs and equipment. What I think is really different is what people are asking for their boats in comparison to others. You can get a 2019 Ski Nautique for $103,000.Now if most folks seem to think the MC PS is better who would spend $14000 more for a 3yr older boat. Now I know that Ski Nautique probably has a higher MSRP AND SOME FOLKS ARE BRAND SPECIFIC like one of my ski partners.Or a 2014 CC 200 CB FOR $67,500 or a 2015 cc 200 for $49,000. I think they are similar boats however almost $20,000 difference.Pretty much same hrs and equipment.Or how about a 2022 Malibu with 30 hrs for $88,000 and I bet I can buy it for less. Now for me I can say the big 3 boats would work for me and I probably would not notice Abig difference for my use for slalom and barefoot. Now I know some of you will say you can't compare any 2 boats nd certainly not different brands well they all do the same thing.Even the older boats have gone up to ridiculous prices. How about a 2008 cc196 low hrs and you can have it for $45,000. I bought a mint 2009 cc 196 in July of 2019 for $22,000 less and today its still skiing no. mn lakes.Oh well I think if you are in the mkt today shop around drive and ski the different boats and I think you can find one that will work for you.
