  1. Maybe it was a good thing it was not televised, scores like that and all
  2. I thought the gates were good, I was thinking nice swerve
  3. I agree with @Tbrenchley, the argument that it will make skiing safer is crazy. Skiing 36/22 is not any "safer" than skiing 34/28
  4. @OB I was thinking the same thing, add B3 25 skiers qualify and the top 8 make it to a head to head format. "The Mutts" they are scrappy and could use a bath
  5. @Schroed good skiing and I am sure you had a blast. Now we just need the Big Dawg series to add a division for us M1/M2 skiers so we can join in on the fun. @Tbrenchley, @Klundell, @Webbdawg
  6. Only 2 skiers ran 38? Is this by invite only as well?
  7. Looking at Marc Shaw's website he has the 2013 Senior Big Dawg Tour listed with 16 competitors. When I first saw this I was expecting to see alot of Sr. Citizen Age skiers on the list but it looks the majority of the skiers on the bracket are not Seniors at all, mostly 40 something's and some skiers in their 30's. Am I missing something here?
  8. I changed about two years ago, similar to Than I felt it helped my offside lean. I was surprised how little time it took to adapt. I thought about it the first 3 sets and have not thought about it since
  9. @ OB and @Ral, I agree that making the exit gates further out would make it easier to score 6 buoys and continue the round, but OB's original argument stressed the idea that this would make it safer. A rule change just to make the sport easier is a bad idea in my opinion but if there is legitimate proof that it would significantly increase skier safety then maybe it would be something to consider @OB I am a shortline skier as well and I am quite familiar with the S-turn method to get a full buoy. In my opinion watching a skier round 6 ball late and have to take a hit going out the gates is exciting. Does it hurt sometimes, absolutely but that is what seperates the men from the boys and the women from the girls.
  10. @OB I think the assumption that making the exit gates further out will directly effect skiers safety is a stretch. Do you have any data to support that people are getting hurt taking a hit from the boat to get through the exit gates than any other past of the course?
