The ZO cable has 4 wires, but the puck has 6 (I opened one of ZO's units) like the one advertised, 3 x common (-) and three other. I suggest you open the wire loom (on your broken puck) and check which wires gets connected together to make the common wire and where the other 3 colours connect to and do the same on the Garmin unit using your loom. Maybe someone can shed light on the "software compatibility"

Yes that's correct @Than_Bogan I do not have a torque wrench, Aidan just wanted a higher setting, so I turned it in 1/2 a turn, when I turn it back 1/2 turn I get 0.340, the same as my rear setting

@Than_Bogan , @mmosley899 If you want more accurate adjustments, I suggest that the adjustment screw must be flanged / locked at the lowest setting (H) so that it cannot screw in deeper and the using shims to set the other 7settings (I-O). This way the adjustment screw cannot unscrew and change the tension.

@Jody_Seal the new Blue Vapor boots does the same, so changing is not going to solve the problem, the Green Vapor ones are OK

Heat it up with a hairdryer and push some socks in to keep it open while it cools. After skiing, pull the tuition liner out to dry in such a way that it keeps the bent tabs open. The new Blue Vapor Boots does the same

What I like about OB4 is that I can try my son's Mapple 6.0 or my wife's Senate using my own boots.

@MattP it had a small crack about 5mm only on the top of the ski from Aidan hitting a submerged solid buoy about 2 months ago, but after the fall the crack was much longer, 1/3 the length of the ski on both top and bottom, two of the 4 fin screws were also ripped out. Don't think it can be fixed Can't blame Mapple Skis

@DefectiveDave, Aidan edgechanged right beind the boat, causing his ski to bounce. He has only recently skiing at 58km/h, so still a novice at that speed. @kfennell both boots released at the same time, after Aidan and the ski did a 180 and hit the water. Aidan has a bit of a sore shoulder but other than that no problems. I now need to get him a new ski, his Mapple 6.0 is cracked from the fin to 1/3 up the ski :'(

@kfennel, OB4 with double Vapor boots. Note that the ski turned 180 degrees, the ski hit the water sideways tip first, I think he could have had bad injuries if the system did not release. You must be very good to ski away from that.

I had a rusted oil sump on a 2009 Malibu RLXI, 350 Monsoon, did 550hrs. At first I thought it was the Crank shaft Oil seal. Changed the sump to Aluminium sump, problem solved.

10m variance to find a 260m x 20m course, should not be that difficult, most GPS' are on average 4-5m accurate.

Missed the 'son' part in MattP's post. My son (14yo) is using the strada boots, he did not feel any difference after fitting them to the OB4 system. So in my family: Wife uses OB4 with Roxa front and RTP, she is :smiley: Son uses OB4 with Strada Boots, he is :smiley: and I'm using OB4 with Vapor Boots and even after paying for all I'm :smiley:

@jdk99 you will not feel any difference when changing to OB4. You only feel a difference when you change to the Roxa Boots. If I was you, I'd use the Stradas until they are beyond repair.

@Horton, are you reviewing the Boots or the OB4's? Maybe separate the two tests, do the OB4 system review with your Stradas, fit them at exactly the same place on the ski, you will probably feel no difference.

@gsm_peter, yes I'm using the Vapor Boots and OB4 and I really love the setup, I have had two falls crossing the wake and in both cases both boots released at the same time and the boots stayed on my feet. I will never go back to the bindings I had. It is true what @mmosley899 & @Than_Bogan says you do get more confident on you ski and it's a lot easier pushing your limits. Just remember to tighten the Boots as tight as possible, it must stay on your feet when you fall. At 47 years of age I'm a beginner when it gets to running the course and at my (or maybe anybody's) age injuries is not a good idea. The 3 systems for me, my son and wife (RTP) cost an arm and a leg in South African Rand but it is really worth it.

Since my last post, I have had two falls (@ 46km/h) crossing the wake and in both cases both boots released at the same time. This made the fall a lot easier, and also put to rest the concerns I had that both boots might not release.

Got the OB4 and Hardshell for the wife and she loves it. My/Our Green Machine, with the OB4 System, my son (RFF) and I (LFF) are sharing the same ski.

My son uses the Strada Boots with the OB4 system, he doesn't feel any difference between his old setup and the OB4 setup. I cannot give you any comparison input because I changed Ski (Connelly V to Senate), Boots (Sidewinder to Vapor) as well as the OB4 System. What I can tell you is that my son and I can/are now using the same ski with our own boots (he is RFF, I'm LFF) so less skis on the boat, not to mention the cost saving of another ski. My wife uses the Roxa Boot and OB4 system (changed from Sidewinder) on her Connelly V and she loves the Boot, the Sidewinder would hurt her heel when it released. She does not feel any difference regarding the responsiveness of the Roxa Boot, maybe because she skis at 46-49Km/h. I do like the ease of putting the Boots on and taking off the OB4 system One thing I would suggest is to take your Stradas to a Shoe repair shop and have the Rubber piece on the heel of the boot replaced with something less flexible like leather. This would prevent your foot releasing from the Boot. If you foot releases from the boot and the OB4 system as well you will be without a boot (it will sink)

BOS - like ski, another three letters you can't without.
