  1. @Horton I'm realllly glad you are reviewing this ski. Thanks!! I rode the 66" version of the first edition for almost 3 years and was very comfortable on it. I'm curious if the sidewall tweaks to this ski have a calming effect to the amount of tip rise that is common from the first edition. I might have to grab a second round on this ski....this time the 65.25".
  2. "Sugar Britches".....I love that.
  3. Would really like to know your thoughts after you try it out
  4. Ski'd the 67 Arc-S again tonight and it felt incredibly good. The crazy thing is I'm not tired. I ran and EASY 32 and now I'm afraid for my wallet. Tip stays down if you ride it right (coming off an XT I definitely know what that means). I'm guilty of pulling too long and feel that this ski could help me dial it back a bit and still cast out wide and early. I am begging myself to not give up the handle as I always do....which I just can't shake on the XT. Is it wrong to feel like a stable ski such as this can actually help you correct some ski "form" issues better than others??? Need more time on it but the darn thing has me thinking.
  5. I just Demo'd the 67" Arc-S and after a boot adjustment slightly forward I ran her into 35 off. I can run 32 off a lot but definitely not every pass and I usually only get 1 or 2 at 35. I've run 35 off twice....ever. Coming off a Nano One XT. D3 sent the demo to a friend based on his style and size. I'm around 175 and wondering if the standard would be better for me. But I gotta say I loved it. Off side just felt good and the ski wanted to edge change a LOT more than my NO XT. I set it to @SunTenAgain numbers and obviously loved it!! Thank you for sharing your set up. Anyone have anymore thoughts on this ski??
  6. Most anticipated review of the year! I need to switch it seems....the this MOASS!!!! Thanks again to @Horton for another great ski review. Chris Rossi's support on Ball of Spray for this ski with Radar brand skiers has been nothing short top notch. A lot to be proud of. It's been nice to see such enthusiasm for this ski.
  7. Nice to see some feedback on the Rev6! I'm getting close to burning a hole in my wallet as well.
  8. @mbabiash that is great feedback and happy to hear that Goode did you right on the FT/NOFT. Hope you get some settings feedback. Would be nice to hear more about what is going on with this ski and where the settings are coming in.
  9. @Than_Bogan I don't disagree with your alternatives at all. I do know for a fact, though, that some very loyal customers are disappointed in how they've been treated. For example a customer buying the Flextail on Monday without being told that the all new Nano One FT is coming out "within the week" and that you might want to wait so that you have that choice. Hopefully these are just minor kinks that can be worked out with their customer base. It's NO DOUBT a great group of products. I'm still a customer. The main thing that concerns me here is that not a single skier on a 68" Rev6 spoke up to give any advice to @mbabiash . But the 2016 Radar Vapor thread is off the charts at approx 65k views and countless comments. I guess I just wish there was more excitement about these ski's that Goode is pumping out. It's also a little ridiculous that the ski I'm currently on (Nano One XT) is three years old and is still $1940. They have 7 skis at that price point. Which one is the best??? Might not be the Rev6 is what that tells me.
  10. It's almost comical the lack of commentary on this ski or any Goode ski on BOS. Too many ski's at too high a price I'm thinking. Breaking the "keep it simple" rule and leaving their customers in the dust with brand spanking new "old models". Betting a new ski is on the way on top of the Rev6. Maybe the Rev7??? Upsetting a lot of folks....which is why I'm still on the Nano One XT (3yrs now) and still thinking.
  11. It was there last Saturday...here's proof!! I'll be pulling for him to win it!!
  12. @Horton how many sets does it take you to get pretty comfortable on most of the skis you review? I am wondering if switching from one brand ski to another vs buying the latest and greatest version of your current ski brand is more difficult. Have you ever jumped off of your "baseline" ski to review another ski and had immediate difficulty running an easy pass?? Say 28 off 34mph??
  13. Bump....Last post on this thread was September. I want to hear more!! Anyone on it recently??
  14. Any interest in an R-style RTP that you could use every day?? ;)

  16. @OB1 thank you. I need serious work on the gates. When I get a good gate I generally run the heck out of 32. Weak gate usually leads to wayyyy to much speed by 5 ball. I can run so many damn 5's....uggggh
  17. @lakeaustinskier Very much! Thank you. Last time I ski'd we took some video and everything you are saying is true. bad stack. It's UGGGGLLY watching me on video. I was and am still horrified after watching. Thanks very much for the response.
  18. I'm 6ft 180 and have been skiing 2 seasons on the Nano One XT 66 RFF w/ reflex. I'm considering other ski's but reluctant to make a change because I finally broke through to run a couple of 35's end of this season and about 100 32's (yes i counted). I find that when I'm skiing pretty good it gets wide and early and turns incredibly well. BUT...I can wayyyy overdo it on this ski. When I'm not skiing well I think I am providing too much input, down course, and fast. I get the funny hip turns on my onside and can definitely get impatient on my offside turns. I know these are mainly technique problems (i need a more consistent and wider gates), but, would like to know what some other impressions you guys have on the ski itself. Fast?? Too fast?? Love it? Hate it?? Thanks! (Basically talk me in or out of spending $2,000)
  19. I am mostly a lurker here but I always REALLY like and appreciate @Than_Bogan 's input. Always thoughtful and obviously a great skier. The guy just gave a review AND posted video which is extremely nice for our small community who want to know more and get better. Very cool. Thank you!!
  20. Hurley Phantom....I've had several pairs and some are being used in their third year. Love em. Durable and comfortable. I hope Nike keeps the quality in check.
  21. Have you switched to a new ski?? which one?
  22. I'm waiting on the Nano One XFT. That will be the best ski EVER if a flexible tail "technology" is truly helpful. Hey I thought last years ski's would be on sale with all this new stuff coming out. Doesn't seem to be the case?? I honestly think that if the Nano One XT was still available in the Goode Store, I'd buy another one as a back up to my Nano One XT. Just in case.
