@Horton & I are up in Bakersfield, we're happy to pull ballers when they roll through now and then. I'd be happy to offer some coaching.

Boat is sold.

Hey @Jibbo yes you can choose anyone from our Team. I highly recommend trying it out. Like @disland said you don't have to buy a subscription service but can you use one time sessions as much as you want. Its a fast easy way to get quick tips right away.

I'll be back skiing a ton here in a couple of weeks! Missing it!

An endless battle of refining your craft.

Like @Skirvind said a lot of the time it's different for every skier. From what I see a lot coaching is the gate that usually sticks out the most to me. It's more of an after thought and isn't getting the attention it needs. The way I look at it is the gate is cause and effect. What we do there translates into the course so if we can fix the cause, it helps clear a lot of those mistakes within the course. I think that's why there's that wall at 35 because its the pass where Being wide, handle position, vision, timing, being centered on the ski, load, etc.. all of these become more critical. Even when I'm skiing my best my main focus 80% of the time is on the gate it can always be better.

That is so rad!

@MarcusBrown Awesome interview man! Great listen; keep doing what you're doing. Wade was one of the reasons why I wanted to push and get to the next level in our sport. Sure as hell the reason I was always a double boot guy haha. Stoked to hear him back in the sport involved more.

@GaryWilkinson that was @TFIN driving that morning. You could say He’s pretty damn good.

@TomH Radar will be doing our Radar Nation Tour again this year. I don't know all the stops yet, but can say we usually have some stops in Michigan and Missouri, somewhat close for you guys.

@theboardingschool hands down. Been going there for years, wind is never an issue.

Everyone who knew Eddie had a story about him! He definitely knew how to make you fall out of your chair from laughing. I felt super fortunate that I got to know Eddie over the last 4 years. No matter who you were he gave you his time. The impact he has left on our sport is unforgettable; designs, innovations and everything in between. I remember back in June @brooks and I did a clinic at Radar, the day after it was raining and we went out and skied, along with @jimski. Eddie came out and rode in the boat to watch us all ski. He had a big smile on his face, never complained once. he loved every minute of it just as I did. He loved the sport so much along with everyone that he met. My only wish is that I knew Eddie longer than those 4 years. So grateful for the time I got to spend with him and all that I learned from him. He made you feel like family.

@RichardDoane Thank you! Unfortunately that's not the case, hoping to be back on the water by end of December or so and get back in the groove.
-
Thanks for all the nice comments guys! One of those videos is pretty old and the recent one was when I was trying some way different binding settings. Have to get some freshies on here once spring rolls around. If anyone has any questions just let me know.
-
Great video @MarcusBrown!! @twhisper tells it how it is. Always look forward to trips getting to hang and ski with him; never a dull moment! Getting to pick his brain about skiing is wild, super knowledgeable.
-
@bhs Try loosening the screws that attach the block to the ski or just take the whole fin block off the ski, that will free it up a bit.
-
@Corne No problem, glad we can all help you out. To answer your question; Shorter skis turn harder and faster, Longer skis will be a slower more rounded turn.
-
@Corne You definitely can, but I'd say if you ski 90% of your rides at 34 & 36 I'd go 68'. @rico is around your size but 6 ft 4 and he rides a 68"
