  1. @Stevie Boy

the 2023 vapor is a refined version of the 2022, so I would recommend going with the 23. It’s the 2nd year of that shape, so it’s a smaller change, but To answer your question I would say it’s the better ski.

it’s the same ski/shape the only thing we did was we did a softer layup especially through the tip, that allows it to move through the backside of the turn more automatic. I think you’ll find you would like that more so.

  2. I second @twhisper& @adamhcaldwellI think my main focus has always been to have the best power to weight ratio I can and trying to stay as lean as I can. I've also focused a lot on my core, I feel like its the key to having everything be strong and having a stronger core protects your back.  Building on what the two have said above; since I was a kid I can confidently say I've have spent 100x the amount studying skiers and going out and skiing than spending time in the gym. Just always Obsessed with watching learning. I take that and try to be laser focused and ALWAYS have a goal when I went out and skied. Being strong is part of it, but the more you understand it the farther you will get. This sport is 80% mental.

  3. Its not super old, but the waterski segment down in Acapulco in the warren miller film from 2005 "Impact" was extremely good. Especially with Warren miller narrating it.  I wish someone would pull it from the film and put it on YouTube. Maybe @MarcusBrownhas it handy! very underrated.

  5. I'll bite. When you run a good pass it feels effortless, if you're riding the right line the boat does all the work because you're riding the swing perfectly. Every turn the same; in and out with speed, every wake crossing the same. Even the sound of the motor hum is the same on every pull. I ran a 38 behind @rico a couple of weeks ago and I told him that was one of the best passes I ever ran in my life of any line lengths. The above was the things I felt came to mind.
