  1. @oldjeep I'm a vtx owner myself, they were just saying that the 16 was changed and not as good as the older vtx. I've always heard good things with the sport 200, but the new gs 20 is supposed to be that much better. I would have a hard time to part with my Malibu.
  2. @pgmoore was at wizard lake Friday on the way to shalom, they say it is the replacement for the sport 200, and is far and away better then the 16 vtx, also said they can't give the vtx away as a crossover anymore. Ron was in the boat when Nate skied and was into shortline with very good results.
  3. I checked it out first hand yest at the Canadian open, talked to JT about it for 30 min, looks really good, and one thing he did say was for him and most people is being comfortable and "safe" is first and foremost, knowing it will release when required. He's pretty excited about it and sounds like there is more to come. Not to mention in the prelims he came off the dock at 38 in a 8-10 mph tailwind and ran it like a boss, then went on to 1 1/2 at 41.
  4. That's brutal. Sorry to hear. I often have concerning thoughts about my boat sitting in a lift 100 miles from home, like " I wonder what the life expectency is of those cables" visioning it piled up on shore when I get there.
  5. I've just never been 100% comfortable in the strada boots. Wondering if a change will help. @schafer I will see what Clint has in stock at wizard, they usually keep some rubber wraps there. Anyone else carry Wiley's? Shushwap?
  6. So I'm on a 2012 strada, with strada boots. I ski pretty well on it, but I haven't ever been truly comfortable in the boots. As for my skiing I feel like I've hit a wall. My previous ski was a KD 7000 with the KD wrapped boots and they fit me very well. Call me crazy but I was thinking of swapping them onto my strada. Thoughts? I actually don't really ski enough which is probably part of my problem also.
  7. I worked on applying the theory provided by @Horton and all the others on this post and the one I put up recently, this past weekend, although I was just free skiing, I noticed a huge difference in multiple parts of my skiing. Looking forward to getting back in the course and give it a rip.
