  1. @Bill22 had our two week check up Friday too. He was born 6-12, dropped to 5-12 and still there. We've started to supplement with formula which I feel better with the intake and exhaust rates now. So far It's a lot easier than people said it was going to be. He's a happy guy and we're waiting for his life jacket to come in so we can go for his first boat ride this week!
  2. Whew, it was cold here in FL yesterday but we hammered through a set. Air was 72, water was 72, wind blowing 17mph. Sunny. December is getting too rough for me.
  3. I started as a fisherman so my first boat was when I was 16. An aluminum Jon boat I paid $10 for and shortly after it was on a $600 trailer. This thing leaked so much water than I didn't bother with a live well, literally. Had 3 other fishing boats since, each one getting significantly better. Then I boat my first own ski boat, a rather flawless 1976 Ski Nautique which I still have in the fleet. Been chasing buoys since.
  4. Orange. Would've done purple to match my boat but not an option. Pink would've been cool though, I ordered pink shirts for work for October.
  5. I must have poor taste because I actually like those tees. Order placed.
  6. @Wish no it looks legit. I just ordered from radar 10 days ago and the confirmation emails and cancellation email formats sure match up with previous orders even though it's a third party.
  7. I feel a free consolation tshirt for shipping costs should be had.
  8. Oh no my two Radar tents have been cancelled by Radar! Y'all heard anything?
  9. @JayG80 cool heads up. At $20 I ordered two. Any ideas on size? I didn't see it mentioned.
  10. @Bill22 Congratulations on being apart of the "no sleep, freaking out over every minor issue club"!
  11. @Bill22 Reading comprehension issues on my part. I guess strictly free skiing Alloy will be great but if budget allows, step up to Graphite just in case you get bit and start chasing buoys.
  12. The Senate is an easy, forgiving ski but I wouldn't recommend the Alloy, bump up to the Graphite.
  13. Im forever thankful for my awesome wife and healthy son born this week, 4 weeks early, just in time to spend Thanksgiving with us. I've never been so happy, proud and thankful.
  14. With CC, And I'd assume MC is the same, trailer manufacturers were determined by dealer and buyer. I'd bet the further West you go the more likely you'll find oddball trailers.
  15. I didn't think D3 changed their skis every year like Radar and HO. Rather changed them when they need changing/have something new and better to bring along.
  16. Geeze, he might someday run a full 43. I think 3 is the hardest ball in any pass. As a side note, really wish there was more announcing of tournaments, I would've spectated it if I was aware of it.
  17. For 3 years I had a resident red rat snake in my '76, I don't mind snakes. Every time I'd take the boat out it'd get waxed and vacuumed so there was enough time to wake the snake up and it'd usually leave then come back at night and curl up underneath the engine for the warmth. Maybe that's why rodents weren't a problem.
  18. part of my theory with the fans on a timer is it creates commotion and I would think it'll push rodents away, at least thus far I've been lucky.
  19. We have a portable course left in year round on public water, what a nightmare. Also a permanent course magically appeared 2 minutes from my door step on public water, a lot less headache. Ski occasionally on private water when opportunity presents itself.
  20. There's a telephone number on their Facebook page. I've called it in the past and KLP answered right away and returned voicemails.
  21. You really need a third option, as I think it depends on the skier. As mentioned before, in my mind a beginner isn't running the course and maybe buy a high end course ski but a lil larger.
  22. Why the safety issues with milk jugs? What am I missing here? My experience is in two weeks they become so brittle that the slightest impact at all and they're Powder. Not my first choice but prior to the spongex for the boat lane it was literally impossible to keep up with all the inflatable buoys.
