    The only thing that I know about the edge change is that the faster that you accelerate the earlier your ski will change edges.

    I was always under the impression that the undisputed best skier in the world is Nate Smith but after listening to the distance from center podcast I have heard Trent Finlayson refer to first Terry Winter then Will Asher as the best skier in the world. Is there something that I don't know?

    Sorry to hear that you have a sore ankle! I am on the reflex binding with the Radar hrt, I strongly suggest trying this setup as it is as safe as anything and it rips!

    This ski is a great ski but it is awful at throwing up a big spray!!! How are you gonna impress the ladies with a tiny spray and a tiny something else???

    The more that I ski on my 2018 Vapor the more that I realize that it loves speed into the turn especially if you get onto the tip of the ski approaching the turn, The addition of differential fin depth by way of adding two washers beneath the middle fin block screw makes the onside turn insanely effortless and snappy, this makes you early into your offside turn with a good edge change and a tight line.

    I have the 66" 2018 Vapor and I feel the same way about the ski, I'm at 6.965 2.455 .765. with the boots at 30.00. How much should I try moving my DFT? @SkiJay

    I'm probably going to seem like an idiot for saying this but I have never heard of Dane Mechler, 3 at 41 is nothing to shake a stick at!

    Tried skiing with two washers that create differential fin depth and wow! Onside was magical and this inadvertently helped my offside because of the speed and early edge change that the amazing onside created!

    I'm running my 66" with the fin at 6.965 2.455 .765. I started with the binding at 29.5 and and thought that my setup was perfect but this morning I skied with the front boot moved forward one hole to around 29 3/4 and it was even better, Man I love this ski! Now I'm gonna get some washers and try differential fin depth and see how that treats me.
