I am not sure what lengths of ski should get for teammate. weight. Height 1, 68kg/149Ib 170cm/5.6ft →Slalom 66inch ? or 67inch? (He is skiing 43k,46k. Just started to learning slalom course.) 2, 54kg/119Ib 169cm/5.5ft →　Trick ski 40.5inch? 41?42? Also please tell me your slalom ski recommendation for this level. Thank You!

@TallSkinnyGuy @Horton Thank you for the comment. To reach the 55k faster from current their level( not running 46k yet), you guys think they should go with a wider ski? Using wider ski until they go 36/58k and then change the ski to narrower ski like Vapor or Syndicate should be better for them?

Hi In Japan, 99.8%of college waterskier start their waterski career when they enter College and leave the team, retire after collegiate nationals in Senior year which is their 4th year. Most of skier end up running 58k/18m(36mph/15off) or some end up running 16m or 14m. What I want to ask is when they buy new slalom ski,do you think they should buy wider ski like Radar Senate? or high end skis like Vapor considering their speed and skills. They can buy ski only once in 4 years. I'm coaching my freshmen who isn't running course at 43k yet now. He is using 66inch Syndicate V-type R. But considering his speed, I thought wider ski should be better for him to improve his ski. What do you think?Any advices? Thank you all!

I am using Reflex white shell boot with HO RTP for my slalom ski right now. It is quite tight to put my rear foot all the way in so I always struggle to find a perfect spot. I want to put a rubber strap around my rear foot but am kinda scared whether it is safe or not when my front Reflex releases. I am not thinking to buy Reflex r-style. Does anyone using RTP with rubber strap??

Is it enough warm to ski in spring at around 50-60 degrees with this BLACKTEC 1.0 MONO LONGSLEEVE PRO SPRING SUIT? I have never wore any camaro wetsuits. Why so popular among many skiers? What do you like about camaro?

My 13m/55k was getting better and I could run it with narrow gate also. I got 2.5 for the very first time 12m! after after this pass,i couldn't get more than 1. I tried to keep the handle low, don't let the handle go away from the body. but I just couldn't go wide at 1 buoy. What should I do?? Here is a video with my 13 and 12 below.

@bassfooter Thank you ! A little change made it much easier! It was head wind in the video but also ran in tailwind too! Less rope,more buoys!

Thank you so much for all of your comments for my skiing! I could run 13m@55k for the first time last week. I am going to try 12m for the first time this weekend. Are there differences between 13m and 12m? and any tips to run 12m ??

Thank you for your advices! I tried early turn and wider for the gate. It made 13m easier!! I am going to try more and get used to 13m!

This is my 14m@55k. I usually ski at 58 but since it's getting cold here in japan I want to avoid the risks of injury so I ski @55k. I think I ran this pass very well. But when I try 13m I can't even get till 5 buoy. Where do I fix to make my slalom better? If you have any advice,please comment! Thank you! here is my 14m

I can run 14m constantly but suddenly I can't go more than 3 or 4 buoys at 13m. I always have slack at 1 buoy and be late in the course. Please analysis my slalom! Here is my video

I am getting new 2016 Vapor this spring. But I am not sure what length of ski I should get. 66? or 65? I am using 65' 2014 Vapor. My hight is 170cm. Weight is 60kg.

I an currently using HO animal binding with RTP on my Vapor. But I am planning to change it to Reflex hardshell boot. What is the differences between rubber bindings and herdshell boot? What's the benefit of using hardshell boot?
