  1. @Horton Question: Is a ride a set? For example if I take three sets in one day - is that 3 rides?
  2. OMG! BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for the share @mmosley899 !!! Cannot wait to get a pair!!!
  3. Demo, Demo, Demo. I know it sucks to hear when you are looking for direct input - but that truly the best way to know what you like - cannot stress that enough.
  4. @savaiusini 10/11 you say... (that is my size as well...) Haha! But I can wait... just very excited for these boots after seeing the teasers and the one Will was wearing when he ran 41' off on the 2017 CX superlite.
  5. Demo - Demo - Demo. I will say this, when I made the jump from the CX to the V-Type to the A3, I was amazed at the difference I noticed. It is amazing how quick you feel those changes. However, I agree that you should ski the TX into some fast speeds before feeling the need to change. Running consistent 32 MPH passes should be the goal before looking at the higher level skis. I would def move into a Syndicate level from the TX (vs going to a CX - from my experience, not much of a performance jump there).
  6. @savaiusini.... 2017 vMax available? I do not want to wait until surf expo to see these things.... haha! Great to see the top level customer service/support from HO!!
  7. I always jump in; say "Hold on adjusting my gloves.." (code for pee break); then say, "whenever you're good, (insert driver name)" - it is fun to see some of these, haha!
  8. @savaiusini - thank you!!! Can't wait to get a pair!!!
  9. Thank you @Horton and @savaiusini - my question. Is HO coming out with a soft shell, removable liner boot in 2017? And if so, will this have the plate option to fit 2014 skis?
  10. Does anyone have any information on the new bindings from HO for 2017? Or at least when HO will be releasing info on the new line?
  11. Hello All, I am moving this Saturday to a house on the lower Fox River and wondering if there is anyone who skis the lower river or any lower river courses. I currently ski on the upper river in the Dutch Creek course with the guys out there (lucky enough to have my parents have a house there). I am right by the Nordic Ski jump on the lower river and hoping to ski after work on week days. Anyone on here ski in that area? Will gladly return pulls on the upper river anytime
  12. 03 was the outback... I think Moomba dropped the Boomerang in the mid-late 90s.
  13. Hey @rpg , I have used both curved and straight handles as well as handles of all diameters. The short answer in my opinion is that it is 100% personal preference. For what it is worth - I went from a .970 to a 1.+ and did not like the change - very quickly went back to what I was use to. For me, it was a noticeable distraction with the thicker handle. I was always adjusting my hands - which previously was something I never thought about.
  14. Starting higher (come up on the boat more/pull out farther) for your gates is where it all starts - I see a lot of people saying this because it is true. Try that to set your self up for a one ball that you ski around sharper. From the video - it looks like you tend to hit the front of the bouy. One thing I have been working on is mentally trying to hit the backside of every skier ball. It has helped a lot. This is easier to do the better your one is. Hope that helps - great thread!
  15. Exposed (or at least more exposed) carbon top layer?
  16. New cable is needed for sure. We had the same issue on our 2000 Pro Star. Put in a new cable, and all was good. The friction is likely due to fray almost always.
  17. Totally awesome!!! This is what it's all about!!!
  18. Oneil makes great stuff for sure. Can't go wrong!
  19. I am also NW of the city and my parents live on the public course in Johnsburg (upper fox river). We got in with the guys who ski over there and it really is an amazing spot. We maintain the course well (even when the jet skis take over on Holiday weekends after skiers leave). @sb_dc_mbs_13
  20. My recommendation would be a 69 HO TX. But the best would be try a handful before you buy if you can!
  21. Go with the XL for sure. I am in the same boat and rode the 7-11 vectors and HATED how tight/small they were and felt.
  22. Right Foot Forward coast on a bike... Left Foot Forward Slalom...
