I replaced all the Sea Dek on my 200 recently because it basically wore out after the previous owner scrubbed clean it a few too many times, and then the sun beating on it finished it off. If you do it right, it is a royal PITA to replace. Between having it peel up in pieces, going through several bottles of Goo Off and paint thinner to dissolve all the remaining adhesive, prepping the surface with rubbing alcohol, it was many hours of misery and cussing. I look at the Sea Dek nightmare on the new Nautique and all I can see is misery when it comes time to replace it. Pump the brakes on the glut of Sea Dek and putting some upholstery in its place please...

More patience in the turn, let the ski do its job more before you romp on it.

I had also heard that Davis gave KLP nothing but grief about the lakes, shame too because they were located out in farmland north of the city, bothering no one out there.

I switched from T-Factors to Reflex, the safety of a releasable binding system convinced me after I took a few bad falls with the T-Factors and messed up my ankle because I didn't come out of the bindings. T-Factors were my binding of choice until then, still a great binding, but at 62 The Reflex system is a better option for me.

@Horton, it wasn't his pink "pretend" gun? @Dirt usually carries his My Little Pony gun at the lake, we're getting used to it.....

@Kelvin, that’s what I ended up doing after the first two hours of effort, overall I think Sea Dek is just an ok product....until it wears out and has to be replaced.

I just finished removing and replacing all the Sea Dek in my 200, spent hours with paint thinner and other solvents to get all the leftover adhesive off and then prepping the surface for the new product.... what a PITA......my OCD may have kicked in after I peeled up the first piece, I would dread having to replace all the SeaDek in a new Nautique after it has weathered for a few years.
