The Western Regional Championships are being held from Thursday July 21through Sunday July 24 at Bell Acqua Lakes 2 and 3. I am looking for a few motivated individuals that would like to share some microphone time with myself and a few of the other announcers during the event. Think you would like to call a slalom set, maybe a jump or trick run, or share a ski story with the fellow skiers? A little background banter between events or passes can be fun for the competitors and their families to help keep track of who's out on the water and how they are doing. Message me if you would like to join us behind the microphone for short bursts and be a part of the excitement, I look forward to hearing from some of you talented skiers!

Another generic email from USAWS in my inbox, on top of the mind-numbing hundreds of marketing emails everyone gets from every retailer/credit card company/home improvement center/etc/etc/etc, will get overlooked and mass deleted every time I clean up my inbox. Digital marketing has watered down the efficacy of an e-mail, but a letter in my mailbox in front of my house still gets my attention when I reach in to get my mail. I certainly will not be sending my SS# to an unknown third party entity online, I don’t even like typing in my credit card info whenever I order stuff online…….

And the wheels on the bus go round and round……..
