  1. +1 on direct to battery (make sure to include fuse at some point in the wire)
  2. @dvskier No worries. I’m not OP. I am mad at myself for not checking though. Was down that way a few months back and would have surely been there... looks like a good setup.
  3. Pickos website says $55/set. https://www.skicory.com/
  4. Fun, but it’s missing some orange or silver metalflake.
  5. Has there been a poll on how many people “drop the hammer” or even close to pull up a skier? Does that happen on short lakes?
  6. That would be fun to see the look on the troopers face as you passed him.
  7. What if you run them both at 34.2 and point the camera to the back? (Wake shot)
  8. I thought I heard that they used to use normal automotive cores (like the old ford one above), but switched to stainless or something non corrosive so it lasts longer. Maybe that’s the “new” one.
  9. Look for xs Wiley’s or similar. Tell him to stay in a little ball and push on the front foot and count to 10 before he stands up. Wakeboard May be allowing him to stand up too soon. Can’t do that on a ski, especially your first 20 times....
  10. Bypass for weekend unless the lake is a weedy mess.
  11. Can you ski the 205 to compare to what you have now prior to making choice?
  12. Other negative is you would have to get and dispense diesel fuel which i recall to be stinky and messier than gas.
  13. Or just put that in the motor box vs the current motor.
  14. Crank it up. Makes you stronger for skiing!
  15. Both. If you ski early, the defroster is nice plus to the heater.
  16. Are there any scuba divers around? Buy them dinner to find it. They may enjoy a “reason” to have to dive... We have done the anchor drag many many times. Need two people, so one can hold rope and feel it better. Unless you have a pontoon, then idle backwards and drag anchor from the front. Do-able.
  17. Depends on use / application. Public / private lake, zero or three people on the boat other than the driver, is the boat a slalom tractor only, or is it also a boat? Would a ‘94 MC or bubble back or TSC2 with zero off meet A LOT of the demand?Possibly. Are some people using and liking the bigger space and seating on the “modern” wide hulls and racks on the MC or ski lockers on the nautiques? Etc. surely yes. And apparently they are willing to pay for it. As others have said - supply / demand.
  18. Check out boat trader .com. I was surprised how many prostars were on there when I randomly looked a few weeks ago.
  19. @dave2ball I’m just curious to lower engine rpm for fuel usage and engine life. Maybe a bit less noise too? Without sacrifice to skiing. For a 32 Off and longer skier, not sure the power band change would be that much different. 5.7 has plenty of holeshot. I don’t know many people that “drop the hammer” on any modern boat. Don’t care about top speed.
  20. @Horton Not fair to those of us that get by with one oil change / year....
  21. Need someone to saw one of each down the middle and post pics...
