  1. Does anyone have a pic of 2016 Vapor new fin block vs old fin block?
  2. Where do you ski in CT? I'm in northeastern CT and will gladly give you a pull once you are home.
  3. H2Oproshop has great service and is a Reflex dealer. Daggett lake doesn't really have a pro shop. You can drilling holes in either side of crack and "stitching" it together with zip ties, then epoxy over the crack. That might get you through vacation.
  4. @Keukaskier, google this place: daggett lake waterski school, it's over by Lake George. Give Tom a call, go camping there for a couple days, bring good beer. Most of the skiers there are beginner/ intermediate, so there will be no intimidation factor. Tom will definitely be able to get you headed in right direction starting the course.
  5. @h2o.skier85, I had the same concerns with my 93 Mastercraft (351W 285HO). I would disconnect the hose at the output of the tranny cooler, insert garden hose and idle until up to temp. I would then remove hose and pour 4-5 gallons of antifreeze in as the engine idled. I found that after reconnecting the hose, as the engine cooled, anti freeze would seep backwards through the system, through the tranny cooler, and even fill the water strainer. I never had a problem in 15 years of New England winters.
  6. St Patty's Day again? Didn't we agree that was a terrible idea in New England? Something like "dumbest thing I've ever done on water" but we'll see if we can talk Pat M into it again. I hope to have a TXi by then. You know you are always welcome for a set!
  7. Thanks Bill. It's really a solid boat. Price is negotiable.
  8. Time to upgrade to Zero Off, so I'm letting this boat go. Its a great tug for someone getting into slalom course or just wants to open water ski on a real ski boat at an affordable price point (negotiable). Excellent condition! Runs great, 285hp HO; Perfect Pass 6.3; Bimini; 2 Covers; OJ XMP CNC 3 blade prop plus spare OJ 4 Blade prop; AM/FM/CD Stereo with 4 Polk speakers; New Trailer Brakes, new Trailer Brake Actuator; Approx 1200 hrs of slalom @34.2. Needs nothing, ready to go! http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Comp_Boat&postid=33738
  9. @ALPJr Thanks. Its a great boat at an affordable price point (and negotiable) for someone just getting into course skiing. I'm only letting it go to move to a Zero Off boat. Where in CT do you ski? I actually ski in the Sturbridge, MA area.
  10. @Nautibynature - I have your boat's twin. http://www.ski-it-again.com/photos/sia33738img0.jpg http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Comp_Boat&postid=33738
  11. FWIW, I'm letting my 93 Prostar 190 go. Solid boat at reasonable price. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Comp_Boat&postid=33738 Time to upgrade to Zero Off.
