  1. @eleeski Very nice writing, you can write a book ...seriously. I am lucky enough (61old) all my joints are fine but good luck for your recovery and wishing you a great next ski season.

Just by curiosity where in the US do you live ?

  2. I have a HO Animal RFF and I find it very comfortable and I took it one size longer than my regular size. I can tight it or leave it a bit loose. I ski at 32mph to 34mph open water and no problem with release when need it. I don't want to hurt myself bcause recovery at my age takes longer time (60)
  3. I ski 97% on open water and we ski with wind, waves anything throwing at us we just go and ski. The only thing we really don't like is rollers from other boats bcause it can be dangerous. OTF hurts bad. What we do is we work most on our position on the ski. The better the stance and the easiest to handle rough water. I know I have to fight my instinct who is teling me to do the opposite of a good position which is bracing, hips back and pulling with my arms......wrong !!! I have to stand up, hips forward and handle close to my hips and ski on edge without chasing buoy or score. And when I have a good feeling on these conditions I am mentally stronger and I ski much better when it is calm or when I go on a private lake......this is desert for me with cream on the top...!!!!!! And you should see my smile on my face the whole time I ski ....

I must be close to you @ESPNSkier I started slaloming 3 years ago and I am 60old

  4. Living in Geneva, Switzerland, the BOS is a huge quantity of informations for beginner slalomer like me and it should really stay that way. I am so glad Mister @Horton put this forum on the web. I say Mister on purpose because it is a lot of work behind and a lot of passion for waterski....so a lot of respect. Thank you for reminding the community for not to be an A-hole.

  5. @Ralph Lee thank you for the description. I am asking about the T3 because I live in Geneva Switzerland, and I bought a T2 67.5 right after Andy's passing through Mappleski just before they closed down the office. And here, I don't think we will ever see a T3 unless someone would bring one frome the States. And the ski looks to work even better than the T2 and it looks soooo beautiful.....I wish I can come to Orlando next spring.... I am currently skiing at 32mph and getting 34mph 1 at of 5 passes.
  6. Dear @Horton,

When you unboxed the T3 ski, I was very looking forward to the review and I am wondering if you are going to do a review or not because I really like your reviews and the way you discirbe skis.

    Thank you very much

Chris (Mapple T2 skier and happy one)
