  3. this is the stuff you need, great for filling holes, fixing jump ski or trick ski rubber edges. Put it in and use a glue accelerator and you can ski a minute after using it. Great stuff. https://www.amazon.com/IC-2000-Rubber-Toughened-1oz-Adhesive-Glue/dp/B002N507I0/ref=asc_df_B002N507I0/?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=&hvpos=&hvnetw=o&hvrand=&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584345016189446&psc=1
  4. Hey @ironhorse we just had a guy come in and leave with a RED EVO2 that fit him perfect. He was 6'4" and the length was spot on. The vests won't fit short. The NITRO vest is a little shorter so I would recommend the EVO2 for sure if your long in the body. @skibrain glad the suits keeping you warm, best thing about the suit it really traps in your body heat, one of the plus points of the smooth skin, it doesn't release body heat out of the suit. @"Keith Menard" it defo won't restrict. No seams in the back make it super flexible. Hope you get some solid quality rides in it.
  5. @kc I would suggest going on the larger size if your close to either. I am 5'10", 33" waist, 42" chest and around 180lbs and prefer a large. Cheers
  6. @dthate both have really good qualities. The NITRO does have a slick skin over the padding which totally eliminates Arm Chafing, If your a bit of a bigger guy that might be a good option. The EVO2 is also a great vest thats about 1/2" longer than the NITRO. This one is in either Red or white. All can be found at our great dealers or online. Hope that helps
  7. @"Keith Menard" The Superflex has two stitch lines in the back that we removed in the pro making for a more flexible and warmer suit as less stitch lines means less water infiltration. Removing the stitch in the back increased flexibility also. see image below hope that helps. Thanks Thomas Asher
  8. hey @skibrain both are 2mm so no difference in the thickness of the suits. The Superflex we only have 1 XL in stock and the rest are medium or smaller. Very limited in sizing. Fully stocked though in the Superflex PRO wetsuit. If you need more info contact me at tom@stokesskis.com Thankyou

  10. Hey @Stevie Boy super pumped that you really enjoy the NITRO 2.0 and it has provided so many magical moments on the water. Sounds like your really on the up with your skiing and development. Performance are a great shop with awesome staff. @6balls thanks for the nice words and compliments. We try every year to bring high quality products that feel great for all aspects of water skiing. WE love the sport and have been competing regularly for many years. Providing great customer service is something we shall always provide as we always want to see skiers happy and enjoying their time on the water @lpskier you never know, their could be magic in that their vest. Hope you break your slump soon. @Orlando76 give us a shout and we can help you find the right size. Also try our dealers who have a good selection of wet suits in stock. If you guys are shutting down for the season or keeping on going, hopefully we'll see you on the water soon. Cheers
  11. Hi @powbmps I would say their is very minimal difference in how the NITRO 2.0 and EVO2 float. You could probably say the EVO2 floats more than the NITRO 2.0 but its pretty much the same. Thanks Thomas Asher
  12. Hey @oldmanskier great you really like the vest and it provides the flotation your after. Mike is very knowledgeable as are all the staff at performance. Great they got you in a vest you really like. Hope you have many great days on the water with it. @Stevie Boy yes we have full stock in all our vests bar the EVO2, the EVO2 we only have XL or XXXL. This will be fully back in stock around November time. Perf Ski do have a good selection if your in that area, you can also try gear on at the lake also. Thankyou. Thomas Asher
  13. We have had our vest shape for ten years nearly now, Just a color difference on our new one. I don't think any company copies another. Just the dynamic padding design makes the shape look very similar. I think we use differenct material, shape of the vest, length, flexibility. The only part of the vest looking similar is the padding. We are all trying to make vests that fit great, look good, and offer up protection with flexibility. Radar are a great brand who do many great things for waterskiing, just as we are supporting the sport we all love. @thager the same company do not make our vests.
  14. Super happy you like the vest. Hope it leads to many great days on the water
  15. i would say the EVO2 floats a little better than the NITRO 2.0, but both float well, your looking at your shoulders poking out the water which is good for a comp impact vest.
  16. Hey @JAS the NITRO has a slicker material covering the padding of the vest and also a more aggressive grade to stop Arm chafing and bunching. The jacket is also 1/2" shorter than the EVO2. The material is very stretchy but not fragile. Take nothing away from the EVO2 though, the vest is fantastic also, providing padding, protection, and flotation. If you take a big crash in this vest you'll pop up and the padding won't shift or move around due to the pinched stitching keeping the padding in place. Incredibly durable vest. @Horton i know really likes his EVO2 as do many others. If you need more details or a better explanation give me a shout between 9 & 5 EST, Thanks Thomas Asher
  17. Hey @JAS we only have them up to Size XXL but the NITRO 2.0 is a little more forgiving than the previous version. We also upped the sizing so the vest runs a little bigger. We do have XXXL in our EVO2 slalom vest though which is a great option.
  18. Hey @ScotChipman1 great you really like our EVO 2 vest. The Blue Steel is the same thickness in padding and the sizing is identical. The base material is probably a little bit softer and the padding is perhaps a little smoother than the evo 2 lessening any arm chaffing. Its a really comfortable vest whilst still providing the durability, floatation and protection we want from an impact vest Hope that helps. Thomas Asher
  19. Hey @MuskokaKy, your chest size being 40" I would suggest going with a large, the material we have is very stretchy but will always go back to its original shape, you'll never end up with a loose fitting vest. @waterskicorey we changed the base material on the vest to be a bit more durable. The padding we incorporated a super slick material so their is no restriction on your arms when attacking the course. Its a super comfortable vest with great durability, and mobility. If you have more Q's feel free to contact us, details are on the website. stokesskis.com. Thankyou and have a great day. Thomas Asher
  20. hey @KellyChipman , we have heard a lot of people be happy with our 3/4 leg option, it definitely stops the water from getting up the legs and also adds that extra bit of warmth around the knees without getting in the way of your bindings. The 3/4 leg is still very easy to ski in because of the flexible material. The all one back piece provides unlimited range of motion. The suit is best used in water temps around the 50-60-70 degree mark. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss the suit a bit, you can call 352-348-0800 or drop an e-mail at info@stokesskis.com.
  21. Fantastic, Suit will keep you nice and toasty when its a little fresh out, can't go wrong with beer fridge stickers. All the best
  22. Hi @Rednucleus The Superflex is our end of line suit hence why it is on sale, very limited sizes and numbers available. We only have xxs, xs, and small available in that suit. The Superflex PRO is our new suit we just brought out. We took the super flex and made some changes to the design of our suit. We made the body longer, and raised the neck line for more comfort. We also took away 2 seams in the back to make the back panel all one piece, made for way more flexibility and also alot warmer as less areas for water to seap though. The suit seams are stitched, glued and taped to help stop water getting in providing a really flexible warm suit. As @Mick04 said the size chart is pretty accurate to your needs. I would say you'd be more than happy in a medium. hope that helps, if you have any more queries feel free to contact us. You can call my phone on 3523480800 or e-mail tom@stokesskis.com Thankyou Thomas Asher
  23. Just an update on Rob Hazelwood, he is now back on water slaloming and tricking after 11 weeks out with a sliced bicep. From what i've been told he is going to the U21 World Championships in 6 weeks. https://www.stokesskis.com/rob-hazelwood-back-on-the-water-after-gruesome-injury/
  24. Hey @ballsohard, Your weight is suggesting your fairly lean, but without knowing your chest and waist size its hard to give a good recommendation. If your chest is over 38" or your waist is more than 31" I would go large. If your under then a medium. I'm 5'10" 180lbs 41" chest and 33" waist and in a large, i'm also thicker in in the body, not so lean. If you need more details or want to give us your chest and waist size you can message here or at info@stokesskis.com. We are more than happy to answer any questions and want to make sure you make the right call on sizing. Hope that helps
