  1. Yes. But I'd probably enjoy watching other skiiers on it the rest of the day...once I tucker out after 2 sets. If you are up front on AirBnB that it is a ski lake, pretty hard to complain. If they are expecting a calm and peaceful lake, I understand the complaint.
  2. Go get some stem cell therapy like a pro athlete, and get back on the water...
  3. Probably in the $40k range for a base model makes them much more accessible. However, make wakesurf boats $300k to discourage people from buying them.
  4. Another question, is the second video really an 'over the front'? If it is, it certainly isn't the kind that I fear.
  5. I'll keep an eye out. What do you ski behind? I'm behind a black Nautique 206. Say hi if you see us!
  6. @Horton assuming it has to do with the big dawg tournament?
  7. Adding wake to flatten it out? Brilliant. I hear in 2020 they are going to make the wake 40ft wide so you never have to cross them.
  8. After a rookie mistake backing up on a rope last season, a knife is a must.
  9. Check out this gem. I found it framed at my parents house while visiting over the holidays. I can't exactly remember the year. My family drove down from Michigan to watch a tournament down in/near Akron, Ohio (emerald lake?). I remember there being a ceremony for Andy Mapple's retirement. Had this and an autograph from Andy hung up for some time. I was the only one who cared about the tournament prior, and we still talk about how fun it was for everyone.
  10. @Bill22 There is 0 chance my wife would have the patience to wait for me to set that up. I need to rely on being a mooch!
  11. Wish the cold side got some course love!
  12. This was my first summer there, but was there skiing about every weekend on the cold side. There are a few club around too, but haven't had a chance to join them yet.
  13. Which way do you prefer to do it? Both have their merits.
  14. I got the graphite. I'll be honest, it was only because that is what the shop ordered for my size. I'm in no way saying that is the right one... I do really like the HRT bindings though. Much more secure feeling through the back foot, without having to change my skiing.
  15. I'm probably exactly at you level with similar background. I also owned a siege, and switched this year to a radar senate. Very happy with my choice, but I was able to demo before I bought it. I didn't have a visceral hatred of the siege, but the senate certainly feels more stable.
  16. If I ever find perfect glass at any site I ski at, I'll let you know! I'll take anything not killed by rollers. More on topic, my dad used to call it 'skiers ripple' and always claimed to prefer it.
  17. I was able to register no problem (Android chrome browser) -The delete button seems to work sometimes, and sometimes it does not. Refreshing occasionally fixes it, but I currently have 2 entries that I haven't been able to remove -I think the cap is higher than I expect. One nice thing about fantasy is it gets people to pay attention to lesser known people. I was surprised at my purchase power. I thought if I purchased Nate Smith, I would have to pick some scrubs for my other picks -it seems like fun, if for no other reason than promoting when the next event is
  18. I have a hard time not pulling for Parrish, always good to see him in the mix.
  19. When I saw Horton's post, I thought of Seth's video. It certainly seems like it is an intentional move to subtly break the stack to initiate the edge change to cast out. Of course, I'm not good enough to make this my focus or understand it. The instruction makes sense when I visualize before going to sleep each night though...
  20. For others like me who tried to visit denaliskis.com on mobile only, it is the background video on the desktop version of the site.
  21. Wow. I initially was going to complain about that surfing wake ruining that glass...but then I was locked in. Great representation of family bond through boating that many of us share. Well done!
  22. Very excited someone is undertaking this. I have given some serious thought to this problem as well, and discussed it with a few collegues that have more experience then I do with it. There are some encouraging ideas floating around that tell me this is something that can work (independent ideas from this effort). IMO, keeping the solution simple and not trying to overcomplicate it seem the most likely to work well. It's really just 6 markers in fixed positions... The extra social competitive aspect seems like a solid direction to me.
  23. We are an obsessed bunch. It certainly scratches my itch between weekends when I can actually ski.
  24. Worked out perfect that it was condensed this time, just the amount of time I had tonight!!
  25. I'm not saying this is the best format, but in terms of watching it online...I really enjoyed it. I didn't feel like I needed to fast forward through a large chunk of the broadcast. Certainly created some parity among the field as well.
