  1. I am guessing the reason for the outboard version being produced first is the demand in Australia and less tooling. A direct drive will be next but it will likely be awhile.
  2. First one coming out the mold. Exciting!
  3. Do what pro skiers use influence us hacks? It doesn’t really matter to me.
  4. Do they still test boats for Hotdogging? I really need the best capable one of 2022 line up Lol.
  5. Plug was painted ready for a mold to be made.
  6. Ive seen the plug , the new FlightCraft Barefooter will be on the water by 2022. This sneak pic is from April. So its much farther along now.
  7. You must run 41off. Or be eliminated Happy Halloween ballers
  8. Alot of comments about the open bow being useless but I use it on my 2017 Mastercraft Prostar often. Two adults or three children. Just don’t be a wally and use common sense.
  9. I’m hoping to heal in time fir next season and treat myself to a brand new ski. I haven’t had a current year ski in a long time as I buy used. Even though 34 is my top speed, I rather ski at 32 now. Don’t ski tournaments anymore so who cares. I liked what I read on the other thread how the c85 is forgiving and less effort. On their site , only two choices for speed. Anyone ski one at 32?
  10. If you like the open bow idea you want a nice wake I would hold out for a 1992+ Mastercraft Prostar 205.
  11. The Tige best tournament boat? Thats a stretch!!
  12. Dislocated shoulder two weeks ago. Still in pain after Dr. popped it back in. So followed up with a Ultrasound. They say torn rotator cuff in a two places, but need MRI to confirm . They say Likely need surgery. Obviously no skiing this year. How long a recovery can I expect on the average? Can I kiss next season goodbye too? No more barefooting for me! Have alot of bruising in the bicep. May be hard to see around the tatts.
  13. I don’t even know what I’m doing this weekend much less two years from now !!
  14. I don’t even know what I’m doing this weekend much less ttwo years from now !!
  15. Pour some swimmers ear in there. If you drop to your knees in pain , its likely ruptured. If it clears up the full fealing , its just water! Lol. Fyi this is really bad advice.
  16. @adkh2oskier yes , it was the worst pain I have felt to date. They gave me a shot a valium and something else and it took 3 people to get back in. Immediate relief. Still in pain but nothing compared to when it was out.
  17. Well I’m officially done with barefooting! Ski season over due to being dumb off the boom. Dislocated shoulder and probably more. Have to go back and get seen again. Had to wait a day in agony to get it put back as I was on a houseboat.
  18. Doug and Robby sold the ranch and took off into the sunset in their motorhome!
  19. This is the kind of people that rent boats. How the frick did someone get into this situation ! Such a tragic story regarding that poor kid. Could have been prevented with some common sense.
  20. I’ve owned many open bow ski boats. Ski Brendella Spectrum, MB Sports 190 plus , MC 197 , Malibu Rlxi, and currently 2017 Prostar. I have swamped every single one of them at one time or another. Don’t think so bad that a child would float out fhough. But if were going to call it a design flaw, its definitely not specific to the RLX! I think the liability should live with a person renting the boat if anyone at all besides the driver. He should’ve gone through the operation of the boat like they were complete rookies like they obviously were.
  21. Assume it’s ruptured and do not use rubbing alcohol like i did !!!
  22. Do not know first hand but I would think the Pro Comp was an improvement over the shortline. at least at shorter line spray as I recall it had notches in the rear. We had a 1990 Spectrum , the open bow , but I was 17 then . I didn’t care about slalom wakes , just the girls we could pile on for a day on the lake!
  23. @buechsr no lol ! you just swing it back some and lengthen the cables.
  24. Those look interesting, anyone know what plate pattern it uses?
