  1. Will I get an "off-topic" if I suggest also looking into the Deckadence material that MC uses now? I think it's the best of both worlds. You don't have to screw holes in your floor for snaps and it's easier to clean out than regular carpet. Easily removable too, which is what bugs me about SeaDek (although I still think SeaDek is a neat product). It might get hotter than carpet, but a lighter color can help with that.
  2. @""Greg Banish" that's something I've always wondered about. Why are they still using the heavy V8s when there are lighter engines that make just as much power? Look at the new Raptor's engine - 450 hp twin turbo V6. And that same engine makes 600+ hp in the Ford GT. As long as the power curve is smooth (turbos can mess that up) to pull a skier, then a smaller forced-induction engine has to be the next move to lighten boats. I can only assume (not being a boat designer/engineer myself) that a linear power curve is a MUST for any tow boat powerplant.

    (And I am 100% a horsepower & noise guy...)

  3. The Strada is, from what I understand, a good ski. If you're comfortable on it, then keep it. If you want a new ski, then get the Senate. My buddy just went from a Strada to a Senate and loves it - says it's way faster (which I assume is from the increased surface area) and has been skiing well on it.
  4. Senate rocks. You will be fine on any Senate, but the Lithium is the best of the bunch (carbon/PVC only like most of the high end skis). If you're skiing that fast now and want to ski 34mph consistently soon, I chink you could get away with the 65". That's what I would do at your size and speed. If you were just learning to ski the course at 26 or 28, I'd probably say the 67, but at the higher speeds I think the extra length will hurt performance when turning.
