  1. $130k?? You can buy a promo ProStar and a brand new nicely-equipped Raptor to pull it with for that. And I am a big Nautique fan too...

I mean geez, you can buy a Porsche 911 for that money.

  2. The Wrangler has enough power to pull, but it's still only rated to tow 3500 lbs. I'm pretty sure it's a suspension and wheelbase issue.

I would advise not using one as a ski boat tow rig. They're cool trucks, though.

Stick with an F150 or something of similar size/rating.

I'd highly recommend this unit from Fusion if you're just looking to replace the standard "single-DIN" size factory stereo unit. My family has one in our boat. It's a little pricier than others, but has a great interface and app compatibility that makes running your tunes from your phone even easier than others. From what I understand, it's also got enough juice to power a couple speakers on its own, although an amp always helps things sound better.

OR this thing if you want something less expensive. It's one of the top sellers on Crutchfield and I have had good experiences with Sony head units.

  4. @Mitzysman I've heard that after the green Vapor (supposedly good but not as forgiving as other skis), they have all been excellent. That being said, I've never skied on any of them and my buddy had good success with his green Vapor.
  5. @Bill22 I looked at a 2018 Senate just a few days ago. It still has the step on the bottom (which they eliminated for 2018 on the Vapor), so I can only assume that 2017 was the last update year. I am pretty confident that 2015 was the first big update, at the very least.
  6. Welcome to Sea-Town

I'm a Lake Sammamish Waterski Club member, but finishing up college in San Diego. I'd say the season is pretty much spring (April ish) to October. Best skiing is in July and August when all the lakes are very warm. Ski Park Lake and Broho Lake are popular placest to get time slots. You can also get a membership at Hilltop too I believe. Who have u been in contact with at the Lake Samm. club? Happy to answer any other questions - I love skiing up there. I ski at Ski Park Lake at least once per week and free ski early early in the morning on Lake Washington when I can.
