  1. @ski6jones I can’t imagine how fast that felt. I was able to ski within my average in the dark. All I did though was pull as hard as possible. Try to spot the ball. Make a turn and on to the next one. Was very challenging, but boy o boy the water was good every pass!!!
  2. @6balls it happens so fast. It was crazy hard, but crazy fun!!
  3. For my bachelor party I just wanted to ski with my buddies and try to do something really cool. So we rented some lights and pulled off some night skiing. This is by far one of the coolest things I have ever done. Everyone should get an opportunity to do this in their life.
  4. Maybe they need to bounce it off of parish’s head better. #fixthefeed
  5. I am amazed with the amount of people favoring their 16 over there 18/19’s. I just jumped from a 16 to an 18 and legitimately gained a pass and a half the first night out on it. My 16 is only a lithium, so potentially that has something to do with it, but I absolutely love the 18 and feel like an idiot for buying it 2 weeks before the 2020 was released.
  6. @"Keith Menard" I also loved the windows.
  7. Is anyone getting their new ski yet? I’m rather anxious to see how it does across the board.
  8. @Jody_Seal that is absolutely crazy. Seems a bit unreasonable though, maybe only 5%.
  9. @Jody_Seal are you saying you went 125mph while towing a boat??
  10. I just got a new to me 2018 vapor pro build and wow this thing is sweet. All the radar products have been so good to me, but this one is my favorite so far. I ran 36/28 once last year and have been fighting all year to get 3 or 4. I rode this ski for the first time last night and second set I was able to run it and even 2 at -32.
  11. Wow I’ve never felt like such a loser. 49 miles to one with a boat sitting there. 24 miles to another I have to drag my boat to. 49 miles is about an hour and I can pull my boat and be skiing in about 45 minutes to the 24 mile site.
  12. I made the switch from a vector boot to a reflex this year for the same reasons. The first month I could still get the same buoys it was just uncomfortable for me. 3 months into the season and there is no way I would ever go back. I feel much safer and confident in my boot. FYI I am on the same ski as you and am about the same body type. Not sure if that means anything or not.
  13. Teak. My brother has fiberglass and I have teak. I paid 630 bucks to have his repaired after backing into it lightly. A quarter size ding. With 50 bucks and 2 hours mine looks brand new. My looks better for one day after a new coat of oil, but his consistently looks better. I just don’t see how you won’t scratch a fiberglass one.
  14. I’m going through the same thing with an 8 month old boy. He is not a fan of the vest. If an adult is holding him is anyone okay with no life jacket? Have not attempted any outings with no spotter yet.
  15. That all white dear lord...
  16. Two families own it. I don’t believe they are planning on selling any lots.
  17. I’ve never had the opportunity to ski behind one of these boats, what is it like? Oldest I have skied behind is a 92 prostar 205, always wondered what the older ones are like.
  18. That would be a shame if an athlete did that. I understand, it would be hard to pass up the money.
  19. Reflex, ski more reps on easier line lengths. Trying to diligently work on form.
  20. I almost already hate myself. I’ve only been in the sport for 3 years and I complain if the wind is above 8mph. It’s understandable that there is a huge disconnect between a guy trying to figure out how to ski for the first time and his buddy that runs 22 off most days.
  21. I think I had around 105. Would really like to get to 150 or more.
  22. I have zero professional help in this situation, but I pray to everything holy that at the age of 58 I am willing to ask a group of skiers if I am allowed to go off of the jump for the first time.
